Saints Protection incubi, succubi
To deliver the suffering souls, against the damned or wandering.
No one is higher than you among the children of men, O Baptist John. The Jordan bears witness to it, and the wilderness cries out, the mountains of Israel proclaim your name, and the heights of Hermon sing your praises.
And yet, Prophet of the Most High, you have known the darkness of the dungeon and the tribulation of the humble, you have been handed over for a dance to a woman and her sin. Through your greatness before God, you have power to deliver darkened souls, to bring them out from the depths where they are chained.
And we, whom these souls deceive by their presence, deliver us from the macabre and insolent dance. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
