INVOCATION:
The voice of one crying in the wilderness says, "Prepare the way of the Lord; make up the paths for our God in solitude. Every valley will be filled up, and every mountain and every hill will be made low, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the rough places will be made smooth. Then the glory of the Lord will be manifested, and all flesh will see it at the same time; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken. "
Saint Ortaire, whom we invoke with confidence to be cured of otitis, pray for me.
PRAYER:
Lord Jesus Christ, may your passion be my strength, my refuge, my protection and my defense. May your wounds be my food, my drink and my relief. Water me with your precious blood, so that I may be cleansed of all my sins. May your death be my glory; in her I want, even in the midst of the most bitter sufferings and pains, to find support, consolation, peace and joy for my soul and for my body, now and in eternity.
