Whoever you are
when temptations rise up in a storm, when trials break you,
look to the Star, invoke Mary. If pride, ambition, envy
threaten to overwhelm you with their flood, look to the Star, invoke Mary.
If anger, greed and lust shake the frail boat of your soul, look to the Star and invoke Mary.
If you are confused and frightened by the enormity of the crimes which burden your conscience
you feel you are close to despair, look to the Star, invoke Mary.
In peril, in anguish, in doubt, look to the Star, invoke Mary.
May her name never be far from your lips, nor from your heart.
Let us pray: Mary, in this month dedicated to you, I come to you. You know all the intentions of my heart, I trust in you and in your intercession with Jesus your Son, our Saviour. Listen to my prayer...(express your intentions in silence)
