Barché lamsel — The Prayer which removes all obstacles from the path

ཨོ ཾ་ ཨཱ ཿ ཧཱ ུ ྃ ་ བཛྲ་ གུ་ རུ་ པདྨ་ སིད ྡྷི་ ཧཱ ུ ྃ ༔
om ah houng benza guru pema siddhi houng
Orgyen Thötreng Tsal
ཆོས་ སྐུ་ སྣང་བ་ མཐའ་ ཡས་ ལ་ གསོལ་ བ་ འདེབས ༔
chökou nangwa you did the solwa deb
To dharmakāya Amitābha, we address our prayers!
ལོངས་ སྐུ་ ཐུགས་ རྗེ་ ཆེན་པོ་ ལ་ གསོལ་ བ་ འདེབས ༔
longkou t'oukjé chenpo la solwa deb
To saṃbhogakāya, the Great Compassionate, we address our prayers!
སྤྲུལ་ སྐུ་ པདྨ་ འབྱུང་ གནས་ ལ་ གསོལ་ བ་ འདེབས ༔
toulkou péma joungné the solwa deb
To the nirmāṇakāya Padmākara, we address our prayer!
བདག་ གི་ བླ་ མ་ ངོ་ མཚར་ སྤྲུལ་ པའི་ སྐུ ༔
dak gi lama ngotsar trulpé kou
Wonderful nirmāṇakāya, my master,
རྒྱ་ གར་ ཡུལ་ དུ་ སྐུ་ འཁྲུངས་ ཐོས་ བསམ་ མཛད ༔
gyagar youl dou kout'roung t'ö sam dzé
In India, you were born, you studied and contemplated;
བོད་ ཡུལ་ དབུས་ སུ་ ཞལ་ བྱོན་ དྲེགས་ པ་ བཏུལ ༔
böyoul u sou shyal jön drekpa toul
You came to Tibet and subjugated the arrogant demons there;
ཨོ་ རྒྱན་ ཡུལ་ དུ་ སྐུ་ བཞུགས་ འགྲོ་ དོན་ མཛད ༔
orgyen youl dou koushyouk dro dön dzé
Now residing in the land of Orgyen, you are working for the benefit of human beings:
ཐུགས་ རྗེས་ བདག་ ལ་ བྱིན་ གྱིས་ རློབས ༔
t'oukjé dak la jingyi lob
May your compassion inspire and bless us!
བརྩེ་ བས་ བདག་ སོགས་ ལམ་ སྣ་ དྲོངས ༔
tséwé dak sok lam na drong
May your love guide us all along the way!
དགོངས་ པས་ བདག་ ལ་ དངོས་ གྲུབ་ སྩོལ ༔
gongpé dak la ngödroub tsol
May your realization grant us siddhi!
ནུས་ པས་ བདག་ སོགས་ བར་ཆད་ སོལ ༔
nupé dak sok barché ground
May your power remove the obstacles that stand before us!
ཕྱི་ ཡི་ བར་ཆད་ ཕྱི་ རུ་ སོལ ༔
chi yi barché chi rou sol
Our external obstacles, dispel them far away!
ནང་ གི་ བར་ཆད་ ནང་ དུ་ སོལ ༔
nang gi barché nang dou sol
Our inner obstacles, dispel them within!
གསང་བའི་ བར་ཆད་ དབྱིངས་ སུ་ སོལ ༔
sangwé barché ying sou sol
Our secret obstacles, dispel them in space!
གུས་ པས་ ཕྱག་ འཚལ་ སྐྱབས་ སུ་ མཆི ༔
gupé chaktsal kyab sou chi
With fervor, I pay homage to you and take refuge in you!
ཨོ ཾ་ ཨཱ ཿ ཧཱ ུ ྃ ་ བཛྲ་ གུ་ རུ་ པདྨ་ སིད ྡྷི་ ཧཱ ུ ྃ ༔

1. Gyalwé Doungdzin
སྐུ་ ཡི་ ངོ་ མཚར་ མཐོང་ བའི་ ཚེ ༔
kou yi ngotsar t'ongwé tse
When we contemplate this wonder, your perfect form,
གཡས་ པས་ རལ་ གྲིའ ི་ ཕྱག་ རྒྱ་ མཛད ༔
yépé raldri chakgya dzé
With your right hand, you do the mudrā of the sword,
གཡོན་ པས་ འགུགས་ པའི་ ཕྱག་ རྒྱ་ མཛད ༔
yönpé goukpé chakgya dzé
From the left, the convocation mudrā;
ཞལ་ བགྲད་ མཆེ་ གཙིགས་ གྱེན་ལ་ གཟིགས ༔
shyal dré chétsik gyen la zik
Your mouth opens with sharp fangs and your gaze turns to the sky.
རྒྱལ་ བའི་ གདུང་ འཛིན་ འགྲོ་ བའི་ མགོན ༔
gyalwé doungdzin drowé gön
O Gyalwé Doungdzin, Protector of beings:
ཐུགས་ རྗེས་ བདག་ ལ་ བྱིན་ གྱིས་ རློབས ༔
t'oukjé dak la jingyi lob
May your compassion inspire and bless us!
བརྩེ་ བས་ བདག་ སོགས་ ལམ་ སྣ་ དྲོངས ༔
tséwé dak sok lam na drong
May your love guide us all along the way!
དགོངས་ པས་ བདག་ ལ་ དངོས་ གྲུབ་ སྩོལ ༔
gongpé dak la ngödroub tsol
May your realization grant us siddhi!
ནུས་ པས་ བདག་ སོགས་ བར་ཆད་ སོལ ༔
nupé dak sok barché ground
May your power remove the obstacles that stand before us!
ཕྱི་ ཡི་ བར་ཆད་ ཕྱི་ རུ་ སོལ ༔
chi yi barché chi rou sol
Our external obstacles, dispel them far away!
ནང་ གི་ བར་ཆད་ ནང་ དུ་ སོལ ༔
nang gi barché nang dou sol
Our inner obstacles, dispel them within!
གསང་བའི་ བར་ཆད་ དབྱིངས་ སུ་ སོལ ༔
sangwé barché ying sou sol
Our secret obstacles, dispel them in space!
གུས་ པས་ ཕྱག་ འཚལ་ སྐྱབས་ སུ་ མཆི ༔
gupé chaktsal kyab sou chi
With fervor, I pay homage to you and take refuge in you!

2. Mawé Sengué
དམ་ ཆོས་ རིན་ ཆེན་ གསན་ པའི་ ཚེ ༔
damchö rinchen senpé tse
When you receive the precious Dharma teachings,
སྐུ་ གསལ་ འོད་ཟེར་ མདངས་ དང་ ལྡན ༔
kou sal özer dang dangden
Your Body is radiant and radiant with light,
ཕྱག་ གཡས་ སྡེ་ སྣོད་ གླེགས་ བམ་ བསྣམས ༔
chak yé denö lekbam nam
With in the right hand, the writings of the Tripiṭaka,
གཡོན་ པས་ ཕུར་ པའི་ པུས ྟི་ བསྣམས ༔
yönpé p'ourpé pouti nam
In the left, the volumes of Kīlaya.
ཟབ་ མོའ ི་ ཆོས་ རྣམས་ ཐུགས་ སུ་ ཆུད ༔
zabmö chö nam t'ouk sou chu
The deep teachings have fully imbued your Spirit with wisdom,
ཡང་ ལེ་ ཤོད་ ཀྱི་ པཎྜི་ ཏ ༔
yangléshö kyi pandita
Ô paṇḍita de Yangléshö:
ཐུགས་ རྗེས་ བདག་ ལ་ བྱིན་ གྱིས་ རློབས ༔
t'oukjé dak la jingyi lob

May your power remove the obstacles that stand before us!

chi yi barché chi rou sol
Our external obstacles, dispel them far away!
ནང་ གི་ བར་ཆད་ ནང་ དུ་ སོལ ༔
nang gi barché nang dou sol
Our inner obstacles, dispel them within!
གསང་བའི་ བར་ཆད་ དབྱིངས་ སུ་ སོལ ༔
sangwé barché ying sou sol
Our secret obstacles, dispel them in space!
གུས་ པས་ ཕྱག་ འཚལ་ སྐྱབས་ སུ་ མཆི ༔

With fervor, I pay homage to you and take refuge in you!

3. Kyéchok Tsoul Zang
དམ་ ཅན་ དམ་ ལ་ བཏགས་ པའི་ ཚེ ༔
damchen dam la takpé tse
When you bind by oath the protectors who are faithful to their vows,
དྲི་ མེད་ གནས་ མཆོག་ ཉམས་ རེ་ དགའ ༔
drimé né chok nyam ré ga
In this supreme place of power, immaculate and enchanting,
རྒྱ་ གར་ བོད་ ཡུལ་ ས་མཚམས་ སུ ༔
gyagar böyoul satsam sou
On the border of India and Tibet,
བྱིན་ གྱིས་ བརླབས་ ནས་ བྱོན་ པའི་ ཚེ ༔
jingyi lab born jönpé tsé
You dispense your blessings and upon your arrival,
དྲི་ བསུང་ སྤོས་ ངད་ ལྡན་ པའི་ རི ༔
drisoung pö ngé denpé ri
A sweet air, loaded with perfumes, perfumes the whole mountain;
མེ་ཏོག་ པདྨ་ དགུན་ ཡང་ སྐྱེ ༔
metok péma gün yang kyé
Even in winter the lotuses bloom
ཆུ་མིག་ བྱང་ ཆུབ་ བདུད་ རྩིའ ི་ ཆུ ༔
choumik changchoub dudtsi cabbage
And from the springs springs the ambrosia of bodhichitta.
བདེ་ ལྡན་ དེ་ ཡི་ གནས་ མཆོག་ ཏུ ༔
deden dé yi né chok tou
In this supreme and sacred place, imbued with bliss,
སྐྱེས་ མཆོག་ ཚུལ་ བཟང་ ཆོས་ གོས་ གསོལ ༔
kyéchok tsoul zang chögö sol
O Kyéchok Tsou Zang, dressed in Dharma robes:
ཕྱག་ གཡས་ རྡོ་ རྗེ་ རྩེ་ དགུ་ བསྣམས ༔
chak yé dorje tsé gou nam
You hold a nine-pointed vajra in your right hand
གཡོན་ པས་ རིན་ ཆེན་ ཟ་ མ་ ཏོག ༔
yönpé rinchen zama tok
And in the left, a box of jewels
རཀྟ་ བདུད་ རྩིས་ ནང་ དུ་ གཏམས ༔
rakta dudtsi nang dou tam
Filled with rakta elixir.
མཁའ་ འགྲོ་ དམ་ ཅན་ དམ་ ལ་ བཏགས ༔
k'andro damchen dam la tak
You bind by oath the ḍākinī and the keepers who keep the vows,
ཡི་ དམ་ ཞལ་ གཟིགས་ དངོས་ གྲུབ་ བརྙེས ༔
yidam shyalzik ngödroub nyé
And perform the siddhi of contemplating the face of the yidam:
ཐུགས་ རྗེས་ བདག་ ལ་ བྱིན་ གྱིས་ རློབས ༔
t'oukjé dak la jingyi lob
May your compassion inspire and bless us!
བརྩེ་ བས་ བདག་ སོགས་ ལམ་ སྣ་ དྲོངས ༔
tséwé dak sok lam na drong
May your love guide us all along the way!

4. Dukyi Shechen
རྒྱལ་ བའི་ བསྟན་ པ་ བཙུགས་ པའི་ ཚེ ༔
gyalwé tenpa tsoukpé tse
When you establish the teaching of the Buddhas
གཡའ་ རིའ ི་ ནགས་ ལ་ སྒྲུབ་པ་ མཛད ༔
yari nak the droubpa dzé
And practices in the Slate Mountain forest,
བསྙེན་ ཕུར་ ནམ་མཁའི་ དབྱིངས་ སུ་ འཕར ༔
nyenp'our namk'é ying sou p'ar
Your “approach p’ourba” soars into the sky.
རྡོ་ རྗེའ ི་ ཕྱག་ རྒྱས་ བླངས་ ཤིང་ བསྒྲིལ ༔
dorje chakgyé lang shing dril
With the vajra mudrā you catch it then roll it
བསྒྲིལ་ ཞིང་ ཙནྡན་ ནགས་ སུ་ འཕང་ ༔
dril shying tsenden nak sou p'ang
Into your hands, then throw it into the Sandalwood Forest
མེ་ འབར་ འཁྲུགས་ ཤིང་ མཚོ་ ཡང་ སྐེམ ༔
mebar t'rouk shing tso yang kem
That ignites, and the lake itself dries up.
སྲིབ་ ཀྱི་ མུ་ སྟེགས་ ས་ གང་ བསྲེགས ༔
sib kyi moutek his gang sek
In an instant you consume the whole land of the tīrthika,
ཡཀྴ་ ནག་པོ་ རྡུལ་ དུ་ བརླག ༔
yaksha nakpo doul dou lak
And reduce their dark yakṣa lords to dust.
འགྲན་ གྱི་ དོ་ མེད་ བདུད་ ཀྱི་ གཤེད ༔
dren gyi domé du kyi shé
O incomparable Dukyi Shechen:
ཐུགས་ རྗེས་ བདག་ ལ་ བྱིན་ གྱིས་ རློབས ༔
t'oukjé dak la jingyi lob
May your compassion inspire and bless us!

5. Dzam Ling Gyen Chok
སྲིན་ པོའ ི་ ཁ་ གནོན་ མཛད་ པའི་ ཚེ ༔
sinpö k'anön dzépé tse
When the time comes to subjugate the rakṣasa,
ཁྱེའ ུ་ ཆུང་ སྤྲུལ་ སྐུའ ི་ ཆ་ ལུགས་ ཅན ༔
k'yé'ou choung tulku'i chalouk chen
You appear as a young child in the nirmāṇakāya aspect
ཡ་ མཚན་ གཟུགས་ བཟང་ ཁ་ དོག་ ལེགས ༔
yatsen zouk zang k'adok lek
Your wonderfully beautiful body, with an exquisite complexion,
ཚེམས་ འགྲིགས་ དབུ་ སྐྲ་ སེར་ ལ་ མཛེས ༔
tsem drik outra ser the dzé
With your even teeth and your beautiful blonde hair
དགུང་ ལོ་ བཅུ་དྲུག་ ལོན་ པའི་ ཚུལ ༔
gounglo choudrouk lönpé tsoul
Like a sixteen year old
རིན་ ཆེན་ རྒྱན་ཆ་ སྣ་ཚོགས་ གསོལ ༔
rinchen gyencha natsok sol
And adorned with all kinds of precious ornaments.
ཕྱག་ གཡས་ འཁར་ བའི་ ཕུར་ པ་ བསྣམས ༔
chak yé k'arwé p'ourpa nam
You hold in your right hand a p'ourba of brass
བདུད་ དང་ སྲིན་ པོའ ི་ ཁ་ གནོན་ མཛད ༔
of the dang sinpö k'anön dzé
To subjugate māra and rakṣasa.
གཡོན་ པས་ སེང་ ལྡེང་ ཕུར་ པ་ བསྣམས ༔
yönpé sengdeng p'ourpa nam
In the left, you brandish an acacia p’ourba
མོས་ པའི་ བུ་ ལ་ སྲུང་སྐྱོབ་ མཛད ༔
möpé bou la soung kyob dzé
To protect your devoted sons and daughters;
མགུལ་ ན་ ལྕགས་ ཀྱི་ ཕུར་ པ་ བསྣམས ༔
goul na chak kyi p'ourpa nam
An iron pourba hanging around my neck,
ཡི་ དམ་ ལྷ་ དང་ གཉིས་ སུ་ མེད ༔
yidam a dang nyisoumé
You are indivisible from the deity yidam.
གཉིས་ མེད་ སྤྲུལ་ སྐུ་ འཛམ་གླིང་ རྒྱན ༔
nyimé tulkou dzamling gyen
O Dzam Ling Gyen Chok, manifestation of non-duality:
ཐུགས་ རྗེས་ བདག་ ལ་ བྱིན་ གྱིས་ རློབས ༔
t'oukjé dak la jingyi lob

བརྩེ་ བས་ བདག་ སོགས་ ལམ་ སྣ་ དྲོངས ༔

6. Pemajoungné
འདྲེ་ ཡི་ ཡུལ་ དུ་ དགོངས་ པའི་ ཚེ ༔
dré yi youl dou gongpé tsé
When you decide to go to Dréyoul, the "Land of ghosts",
མེ་ དཔུང་ ཤོད་ ཀྱི་ ས་གཞི་ ལ ༔
mépoung shö kyi sashyi la
The ground on which the blazing inferno is lit
མདའ་ རྒྱང་ གང་ གི་ མཚོ་ ནང་ དུ ༔
da gyang gang gi tso nang dou
Transforms into a lake, as wide as an arrow's reach,
པདྨའ ི་ སྟེང་ དུ་ བསིལ་ བསིལ་ འདྲ ༔
peme tengdou sil sil dra
Where you appear, on a lotus, fresh and sparkling.
པདྨའ ི་ ནང་ ན་ དགོངས་ པ་ མཛད ༔
peme nang na gongpa dzé
In this lotus, you unfold your realization
མཚན་ ཡང་ པདྨ་ འབྱུང་ གནས་ ཞེས ༔
tsen yang pema joungné shyé
And this is how you are called Pemajoungne, "Lotus-born".
རྫོགས་ པའི་ སངས་ རྒྱས་ དངོས་ སུ་ བྱོན ༔
dzokpé sangyé ngö sou jön
You come in person as a perfectly realized Buddha;
དེ་འདྲའི་ སྤྲུལ་ སྐུ་ ཡ་ མཚན་ ཅན ༔
dendré tulkou yatsen chen
O wonderful nirmāṇakāya:
ཐུགས་ རྗེས་ བདག་ ལ་ བྱིན་ གྱིས་ རློབས ༔
t'oukjé dak la jingyi lob
May your compassion inspire and bless us!
བརྩེ་ བས་ བདག་ སོགས་ ལམ་ སྣ་ དྲོངས ༔

7. Khypar P'akpé Rigdzin
བོད་ ཀྱི་ ཉི་མ་ མཛད་ པའི་ ཚེ ༔
bö kyi nyima dzépé tse
When you shine like the Tibetan sun
དད་ ལྡན་ འགྲོ་བ་ འདྲེན་ པའི་ དཔལ ༔
deden drowa drenpé pal
Impressive guide to all whose hearts are filled with devotion,
གང་ ལ་ གང་ འདུལ་ སྐུར་ བསྟན་ ནས ༔
gang the gang grief kour ten born
You deploy manifestations according to the needs of the beings to be tamed.
གཙང་ ཁ་ ལ་ ཡི་ ལ་ ཐོག་ ཏུ ༔
tsang k'ala yi la t'ok tou
At the top of the Khala pass, in the Tsang,
དགྲ་ ལྷའི་ དགེ་ བསྙེན་ དམ་ ལ་ བཏགས ༔
dral'é gényen dam la tak
You bind by oath the Guényen of the dralha.
ཡུལ་ ནི་ ཚ་ བའི་ ཚ་ ཤོད་ དུ ༔
youl ni tsawé tsashö dou
In the Tsawarong Valley,
ལྷ་ ཡི་ དགེ་ བསྙེན་ དྲེགས་ པ་ ཅན ༔
the geny yi drekpachen
These are the twenty-one arrogant Guényen of the gods,
ཉི་ ཤུ་ རྩ་ གཅིག་ དམ་ ལ་ བཏགས ༔
nyishou tsachik dam la tak
Who you swear allegiance to.
མང་ ཡུལ་ དེ་ ཡི་ བྱམས་ སྤྲིན་ དུ ༔
mangyoul de yi jamtrin dou
In Mangyoul and Jamtrin,
དགེ་ སློང་ བཞི་ ལ་ དངོས་ གྲུབ་ གནང་ ༔
gelong shyi la ngödroub nang
You grant the siddhi to the four bhikshu.
ཁྱད་པར་ འཕགས་ པའི་ རིག་ འཛིན་ མཆོག ༔
k'ypar p'akpé rigdzin chok
O Supreme Khypar P’akpé Rigdzin:
ཐུགས་ རྗེས་ བདག་ ལ་ བྱིན་ གྱིས་ རློབས ༔
t'oukjé dak la jingyi lob

Our external obstacles, dispel them far away!

Our inner obstacles, dispel them within!
གསང་བའི་ བར་ཆད་ དབྱིངས་ སུ་ སོལ ༔

Our secret obstacles, dispel them in space!

8. Dzoutrul Thouchen
དཔལ་ མོ་ ཐང་ གི་ དཔལ་ ཐང་ དུ ༔
palmo t'ang gi pal t'ang dou
In the glorious Palmothang plain,
བརྟན་ མ་ བཅུ་གཉིས་ དམ་ ལ་ བཏགས ༔
tenma chounyi dam la tak
You give the twelve goddesses Tenma the oath that binds them.
བོད་ ཡུལ་ ཁ་ ལའི་ ལ་ ཐོག་ ཏུ ༔
böyoul k'alé la t'ok tou
At the Khala Pass in central Tibet,
གངས་ དཀར་ ཤ་ མེད་ དམ་ ལ་ བཏགས ༔
gangkar shame dam la tak
You bind by oath the white snow goddess Gangkar Shamé.
འདམ་ ཤོད་ ལྷ་ བུའི་ སྙིང་ དྲུང་ དུ ༔
damshö abu nying droung dou
In the marshy lands on the outskirts of Damshö, at the foot of Mount Lhabu Nying,
ཐང་ ལྷ་ ཡར་ ཞུད་ དམ་ ལ་ བཏགས ༔
t'angl'a yarshyu dam la tak
You bind Thanglha Yarshyou with a solemn oath.
ཧས་ པོ་ རི་ ཡི་ ཡང་ གོང་ དུ ༔
hepori yi yang gong dou
On the top of Mount Hépori,
ལྷ་ སྲིན་ ཐམས་ཅད་ དམ་ ལ་ བཏགས ༔
the asin t'amché dam la tak
You make all deva er rakṣasa take an oath:
ཆེ་ བའི་ ལྷ་ འདྲེ་ ཐམས་ཅད་ ཀྱིས ༔
chewé he dré t'amché kyi
And among all these great gods and demons,
ལ་ ལས་ སྲོག་ གི་ སྙིང་ པོ་ ཕུལ ༔
lalé sok gi nyingpo p'oul
Some have given you the very essence of their life force,
ལ་ ལས་ བསྟན་ པ་ བསྲུང་ བར་ བྱས ༔
lalé tenpa soungwar che
The others set out to protect the teachings,
ལ་ ལས་ བྲན་ དུ་ ཁས་ བླངས་ བྱས ༔
lalé dren dou k'élang jé
And still others have sworn to serve you.
མཐུ་ དང་ རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་ སྟོབས་ པོ་ ཆེ ༔
t'ou dang dzout'rul tobpo ché
O mighty Dzoutrul Thouchen:
ཐུགས་ རྗེས་ བདག་ ལ་ བྱིན་ གྱིས་ རློབས ༔
t'oukjé dak la jingyi lob

9. Dorje Drakpo Tsal
དམ་པ་ ཆོས་ ཀྱི་ བསྟན་ པ་ ནི ༔
dampa chö kyi tenpa ni
When you establish the teachings of the sublime Dharma
རྒྱལ་ མཚན་ ལྟ་ བུར་ བཙུགས་ པའི་ ཚེ ༔
gyaltsen stool tsoukpé tse
As if you hoisted a banner of victory,
བསམ་ ཡས་ མ་ བཞེངས་ ལྷུན་ གྱིས་ གྲུབ ༔
samyé mashyeng l'ün gyi droub
Samyé is erected, spontaneously and complete, without having to be built
རྒྱལ་ པོའ ི་ དགོངས་ པ་ མཐར་ ཕྱིན་ མཛད ༔
gyalpö gongpa t'archin dzé
And the king's vision is fully fulfilled.
སྐྱེས་ མཆོག་ གསུམ་ གྱི་ མཚན་ ཡང་ གསོལ ༔
kyéchok soum gyi tsen yang sol
You then bore the names of three great beings:
གཅིག་ ནི་ པདྨ་ འབྱུང་ གནས་ ཞེས ༔
chik ni péma joungné shyé
One was Padmākara, "Lotus-born",
གཅིག་ ནི་ པདྨ་ སམྦྷ་ ཝ ༔
chik ni pema sambhava
Another was Padmasambhava,
གཅིག་ ནི་ མཚོ་ སྐྱེས་ རྡོ་ རྗེ་ ཞེས ༔
chik ni tsokyé dorje shyé
And the third was Tsokyé Dorje, “Vajra Né-du-lac”.
གསང་ མཚན་ རྡོ་ རྗེ་ དྲག་པོ་ རྩལ ༔
blood tsen dorje drakpo tsal
O Dorje Drakpo Tsal, we now call on you by your secret name:
ཐུགས་ རྗེས་ བདག་ ལ་ བྱིན་ གྱིས་ རློབས ༔
t'oukjé dak la jingyi lob

10. Kalden Drendze
བསམ་ ཡས་ མཆིམས་ ཕུར་ སྒྲུབ་པ་ མཛད ༔
samyé chimp'our droubpa dzé
When you practice at Samyé Chimp’ou,
རྐྱེན་ ངན་ ཟློག་ ཅིང་ དངོས་ གྲུབ་ གནང་ ༔
kyen ngen dok ching ngödroub nang
You rule out bad circumstances entirely and dispense siddhi.
རྗེ་ བློན་ ཐར་ པའི་ ལམ་ ལ་ བཀོད ༔
jélön t'arpé lam la kö
You set the king and the ministers on the path to liberation,
གདོན་ གཟུགས་ བོན་ གྱི་ བསྟན་ པ་ བསྣུབས ༔
dön zouk bön gyi tenpa noub
Putting an end to the teachings of the Bonpo which ward off evil spirits
ཆོས་ སྐུ་ དྲི་ མེད་ རིན་ ཆེན་ བསྟན ༔
chökou drimé rinchen ten
And revealing the dharmakāya, precious and immaculate.
སྐལ་ ལྡན་ སངས་ རྒྱས་ ས་ ལ་ བཀོད ༔
kalden sangyé sa la kö
O Kalden Drendze who guides us, fortunate beings, towards the state of Buddha:
ཐུགས་ རྗེས་ བདག་ ལ་ བྱིན་ གྱིས་ རློབས ༔

11. Rakṣa Thötreng
དེ་ ནས་ ཨོ་ རྒྱན་ ཡུལ་ དུ་ བྱོན ༔
dene orgyen youl dou jön
Then you leave, to go to Orgyen country,
ད་ལྟ་ སྲིན་ པོའ ི་ ཁ་ གནོན་ མཛད ༔
danta sinpö k'anön dzé
Where nowadays you subjugate the demons rakṣasa;
མི་ ལས་ ལྷག་ གྱུར་ ཡ་ མཚན་ ཆེ ༔
mi le the ak gyour yatsen che
Great wonder, beyond human,
སྤྱོད་པ་ རྨད་ བྱུང་ ངོ་ མཚར་ ཆེ ༔
chöpa méjoung ngotsar che
Sublime wonder, your prodigious Awakening actions,
མཐུ་ དང་ རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་ སྟོབས་ པོ་ ཆེ ༔
t'ou dang dzout'rul tobpo ché
Tremendous power, with your miraculous powers:
ཐུགས་ རྗེས་ བདག་ ལ་ བྱིན་ གྱིས་ རློབས ༔
t'oukjé dak la jingyi lob

12. Guru Déchen Gyalpo
སྐུ་ གསུང་ ཐུགས་ ལྡན་ འགྲོ་བ་ འདྲེན་ པའི་ དཔལ ༔
kou soung t'oukden drowa drenpé pal
Possessing a Body, a Word and a Spirit of wisdom, you are our glorious guide;
སྒྲིབ་ པ་ ཀུན་ སྤངས་ ཁམས་ གསུམ་ ས་ ལེར་ མཁྱེན ༔
dribpa kün pang k'am soum saler k'yen
Having left all sails, you know the three worlds clearly and distinctly,
དངོས་ གྲུབ་ མཆོག་ བརྙེས་ བདེ་ ཆེན་ མཆོག་ གི་ སྐུ ༔
ngödroub chok nyé décen chok gi kou
Having attained the supreme siddhi, you possess the Sublime Body of Great Bliss;
བྱང་ ཆུབ་ སྒྲུབ་ པའི་ བར་ཆད་ ངེས་ པར་ སེལ ༔
changchoub droubpé barché ngpar salt
All the obstacles to our Awakening, eliminate them definitively!
ཐུགས་ རྗེས་ བདག་ ལ་ བྱིན་ གྱིས་ རློབས ༔
t'oukjé dak la jingyi lob
May your compassion inspire and bless us!
བརྩེ་ བས་ བདག་ སོགས་ ལམ་ སྣ་ དྲོངས ༔

ཞེས་ པའང་ རྩོད་ བྲལ་ དུས་ བབས་ ཀྱི་ སྤྲུལ་ པའི་ གཏེར་ སྟོན་ ཆེན་པོ་ ཨོ་ རྒྱན་ མཆོག་ གྱུར་ བདེ་ ཆེན་ གླིང་ པས་ ཟླ་ ཉིན་ ཁ་ ལ་ རོང་ སྒོའ ི་ དཔལ་ ཆེན་ པོའ ི་ ཞབས་ འོག་ ནས་ སྤྱན་ དྲངས་ པའི་ བླ་ མའི་ ཐུགས་ སྒྲུབ་ བར་ཆད་ ཀུན་ སེལ་ གྱི་ ཞལ་ གདམས་ སྙིང་ བྱང་ ཡིད་ བཞིན་ ནོར་བུ་ ལས ། ཕྱི་ གསོལ་ འདེབས་ ཀྱི་ སྒྲུབ་པ་ ཁོལ་ དུ་ ཕྱུངས་ པ་ སྟེ །
This outward prayer practice is taken from "Commentary on the Essence of Oral Instructions, The Wish-Granting Jewel" in "The Practice of the Master's Heart: Dispelling All Obstacles" (Lamé thoukdroup barché künsel). This revelation was discovered at the foot of the Great Glorious, at the rock of Danyin Khala Rongo by Orgyen Chokgyour Déchen Lingpa, the great revealer of treasures who appeared in this time of conflict.
འདིས་ ཀྱང་ བསྟན་ འགྲོའ ི་ བར་ཆད་ དང་ རྒུད་ པ་ ཐམས་ཅད་ ཉེ་ བར་ ཞི་ ཞིང་ དགེ་ ལེགས་ ཀྱི་ དོན་ ཐམས་ཅད་ ཡོངས་ སུ་ གྲུབ་ པའི་ རྒྱུར་ གྱུར་ ཅིག ། །།
May this prayer cause the complete appeasement of all obstacles and degeneration that threaten teachings and beings, and bring all good and all virtue to fruition! Maṅgalaṃ!
