Psalm 119
1 Blessed are those who are spotless in their way, who walk in the law of Yahweh!
2 Blessed are those who keep his testimony, who seek him wholeheartedly,
3 and who without doing wrong walk in his ways!
4 You promulgate your precepts, to be observed fully.
5 May my ways be to keep your wills.
6 Then I will not be ashamed to review all your commandments.
7 I will give you thanks in righteousness of heart, instructed in your righteous judgments.
8 Your wishes, I want to observe them, do not abandon me entirely.
9 How do you keep your way clean, young? To keep your word.
10 With all my heart I seek you; do not deviate from your commandments.
11 In my heart I have kept your promises so as not to fail you.
12 Blessed that you are Yahweh, teach me your wishes!
13 With my lips I have enumerated them all, the judgments of your mouth.
14 In the way of your testimony I have more joy than in all riches.
15 On your precepts I want to meditate and look on your paths.
16 I find delight in your wills; I will not forget your word.
17 Be good to your servant, and I will live; I will keep your word.
18 Open my eyes: I will look at the wonders of your law.
19 A stranger that I am on earth, hide not your commandments from me.
20 My soul is consumed with longing for your judgments at all times.
21 Thou shalt attack the proud, the accursed, who go beyond thy commandments.
22 Save me from insult and contempt, for I keep your testimony.
23 Let princes sit and speak against me; your servant will meditate on your wishes.
24 Your testimony is my delight, your wishes, my counselors.
25 My soul is glued to the dust; quicken me according to your word.
26 I enumerate my ways, you answer me, teach me your wishes.
27 Make me understand the way of your precepts, and I will meditate on your wonders.
28 My soul is melted down; lift me up according to your word.
29 Turn me away from the way of lying; be gracious to me in your law.
30 I have chosen the way of truth, I follow your judgments.
31 I stand by your testimony, Yahweh, do not disappoint me.
32 I run in the way of your commandments, for you have set my heart wide.
33 Teach me, Yahweh, the way of your wills; I will keep it as a reward.
34 Make me understand, that I keep your law, that I observe it with all my heart.
35 Guide me to the way of your commandments, for I am happy there.
36 Turn my heart to your testimony, and not to gain.
37 Free my eyes from the images of nothing; give me life through your word.
38 Keep your promise to your servant, that you will be feared.
39 Free me from the insult that terrifies me, your judgments are welcome.
40 Behold, I have desired Your precepts; quicken me through Your righteousness.
41 Your love come to me, Yahweh, your salvation according to your promise!
42 Let me answer an insult with my word, for I trust your word.
43 Do not take the word of truth out of my mouth, for I hope in your judgments.
44 I will keep your law unceasingly forever and ever.
45 I will be wide in my walk, for I seek your precepts.
46 Before kings I will speak of your testimony, and will not be ashamed.
47 Your commandments have been my delight; I have loved them very much.
48 I stretch out my hands towards your commandments which I love, your wills, I meditate on them.
49 Remember your word to your servant, in whom you made my hope.

50 This is my comfort in my misery, your promise gives me life.
51 The superb have flouted me with pleasure, on your law I have not wavered.
52 I remember your judgments of old, Yahweh, and I console myself.
53 I am wrathful before the wicked, who forsake your law.
54 Hymns for me, may thy wills, in my abode as a stranger.
55 I remember your name in the night, Yahweh, and I keep your law.
56 This is what I keep your precepts.
57 My part, I said, Yahweh, is to observe your words.
58 With all my heart I want to soften your face, have mercy on me according to your promise!
59 I reflect on my ways and come back to your testimony.
60 I hasten and do not delay in keeping your commandments.
61 The nets of the wicked surround me; I have not forgotten your law.
62 I rise at midnight, giving you thanks for your righteous judgments,
63 ally that I am with all those who fear you and observe your precepts.
64 The earth is full of your love, Yahweh; teach me your wishes.
65 You have done good to your servant, Yahweh, according to your word.
66 Teach me common sense and knowledge, for I have faith in your commandments.
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, now I keep your promise.
68 You, the good, the beneficent, teach me your wishes.
69 The beautiful bog me down with lies, I wholeheartedly keep your precepts.
70 Their hearts are thick as fat; I delight in your law.
71 It is good for me to be grieved in order to learn your wishes.
72 Good for me, the law of your mouth, more than millions of gold and silver.
73 Your hands made me and fixed me, make me understand, I will learn your commandments.
74 Whoever fears you sees me with joy, for I hope in your word.
75 I know, Yahweh, that your judgments are righteous, that you afflict me in truth.
76 May your love be comfort to me, according to your promise to your servant!
77 Let thy love befall me, and I will live, for thy law is my delight.
78 Shame on the superb ones who overwhelm me with lies! I meditate on your precepts.
79 Let those who fear you and know your testimony turn to me!
80 May my heart be impeccable in your wills, then no shame for me.
81 To the end my soul will go for your salvation, I hope in your word.
82 To the end my eyes for your promise, when will you console me?
83 Made like a smoky skin, I will not forget your wishes.
84 How long will the days of your servant be, when will you judge my persecutors?
85 Great ones dig pits for me against your law.
86 Truth, all your commandments: help me when lying persecutes me.
87 They would come to the end of me on earth, without my leaving your precepts.
88 According to your love, quicken me, I will keep the testimony of your mouth.
89 Forever, Yahweh, your word, unchanging in heaven;
90 from age to age, your truth; you fixed the earth, it remains;
91 By your judgments everything remains to this day, for all things are your handmaid.
92 If your law had not been my delight, I perished in misery.
93 I will never forget your precepts; through them you give me life.
94 I am yours, save me, I seek your precepts.
95 May the wicked watch me for my loss, I understand your testimony.
96 Of all perfection I saw the end how wide, your command!
97 How I love your law! all day long I meditate on it.
98 More than my enemies you make me wise by your commandment, always mine.
99 More than all my masters I have finesse, your testimony, I meditate on it.
100 More than the elders I have intelligence, all your precepts, I keep them.

101 From every path of evil I withdraw my steps, to observe your word.
102 I do not turn aside from your judgments, for you teach me.
103 How sweet is your promise to my palate, more than honey to my mouth!
104 By your precepts I have intelligence and I hate every path that lies.
105 A lamp in my footsteps, your word, a light in my path.
106 I have sworn to observe, and will keep, your righteous judgments.
107 I am in the depths of misery, Yahweh, give life to me according to your word.
108 Accept the offering of my mouth, Yahweh, teach me your judgments.
109 My soul at all times in my hands, I do not forget your law.
110 Let the wicked lay a snare for me, I will not deviate from your precepts.
111 Your testimony is my heritage forever, it is the joy of my heart.
112 I bend my heart to do your will, reward forever.
113 I hate divided hearts and I love your law.
114 You my shelter, my shield, I hope in your word.
115 Turn away from me, you wicked, I want to keep the commandments of my God.
116 Be my support according to your promise and I will live, do not be ashamed of my expectation.
117 Be my support and I will be saved, my eyes on your wills relentlessly.
118 You overthrow all those who go out of your will, lying is their calculation.
119 You consider all the ungodly of the earth to be rusty, so I love your testimony.
120 My flesh trembles with your fear; I fear under your judgments.
121 My action was judgment and justice; do not hand me over to my torturers.
122 Be an ally to your servant for good, so that the proud do not torture me.
123 My eyes go to the end for your salvation, for your promise of righteousness.
124 Deal with your servant according to your love, teach me your wishes.
125 I am your servant; make me understand, and I will know your testimony.
126 It is time to act, Yahweh, your law has been broken.
127 Also I love your commandments, more than gold and fine gold.
128 Also I rule by all your precepts and I hate every path that lies.
129 Wonder is your testimony; also my soul keeps it.
130 Thy word in uncovering itself illuminates, and the simple understand.
131 I open my mouth wide and inhale, eager for your commandments.
132 Look to me, have mercy on me, it is justice for the lovers of your name.
133 Fix my steps in your promise, let evil triumph over me.
134 Redeem me from the torture of man, I will observe your precepts.
135 For thy servant light up thy face, teach me thy wills.
136 My eyes are streaming with tears, for they do not keep your law.
137 O righteous that you are, Yahweh! Righteousness that your judgments.
138 You set your testimony as righteousness, as all truth.
139 My zeal consumes me, for my oppressors forget your word.
140 Your promise is fully proven; your servant cherishes it.
141 Petty that I am and despised, I do not forget your precepts.
142 Eternal righteousness is your righteousness, truth is your law.
143 Anguish, oppression have seized me, your commandments are my delight.
144 Eternal righteousness that your testimony, make me understand and I will live.
145 I call with all my heart, answer me, Yahweh, I will keep your wishes.
146 I call you, save me, I will observe your testimony.
147 I anticipate the dawn and I implore, I hope in your word.
148 My eyes stay ahead of vigils to meditate on your promise.
149 In your love listen to my voice, Yahweh; in your judgments give life to me.
150 They draw near to disgrace, my persecutors; they stray from your law.

151 You, Yahweh, are near, truth is all your commandments.
152 Long ago I knew from your testimony that you founded it forever.
153 See my misery, deliver me, for I have not forgotten your law.
154 Plead my cause, defend me, in your promise quicken me.
155 Salvation is far from the wicked; they do not seek your will.
156 Many tenderness, Yahweh, in your judgments quicken me.
157 Many my persecutors, my oppressors, I have not wavered at your testimony.
158 I've seen the renegades, they make me sick, they don't keep your promise.
159 See if I love your precepts, Yahweh, in your love give life to me.
160 Truth, the principle of your word! for eternity, your righteous judgments.
161 Princes persecute me for no reason; my heart dreads your word.
162 Joy to me in your promise, as in finding great loot.
163 Lying, I hate it, I loathe it, your law, I love it.
164 Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous judgments.
165 Great peace for the lovers of your law, for them nothing is scandalous.
166 I wait for your salvation, Yahweh, your commandments, I follow them.
167 My soul observe your testimony, I love it completely.
168 I keep your precepts, your testimony, all my ways are before you.
169 Let my cry be near to you, Yahweh, by your word make me understand.
170 May my prayer come before your face, by your promise deliver me.
171 Let my lips proclaim your praise, for you teach me your wishes.
172 Let my tongue repeat your promise, for all your commandments are righteousness.
173 May your hand help me, for I have chosen your precepts.
174 I desire your salvation, Yahweh, your law is my delight.
175 May my soul live to praise you, your judgments help me!
176 I am going astray, lost sheep come and seek your servant. No, I have not forgotten your commandments.
