The Word was in the beginning, the Word was with God, and that Word was God. She was in the beginning with God. And we have all received from his fullness, and graces upon graces. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one ever saw God; the Only Begotten, who is in the bosom of the Father, is the One who made him known to us.
