Invocation to Saint Fris in favour of those afflicted with neuritis

Saint Fris is invoked on behalf of those afflicted with neuritis.
Saint Fris was the son of Duke Radbod; a warrior in the Frankish army, he hunted down the Saracens and died in action in 737 AD near Auch. Many miracles took place at the place of his death.

INVOCATION
Lord, you have not rejected the prayers that Saint Fris addressed to you, but you have glorified him with many miracles: this is why we ask you to receive the effects of his intercession on this day. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Fris, who are recognized as the special protector of patients with neuritis, pray for us.

PRAYER
Good Lord! cried the prophet, my steps faltered when I saw the prosperity of the wicked: the ungodly abounds in good; everything serves his delights and his luxury, he walks on flowers, he swims in joy; and the righteous languishes in poverty; needs and pains, contempt and stigma, seem to come together to oppress him. Is this, Lord, the division which you have made with your faithful servants? No, dear Father, you who prepare food for the birds, you are setting the table for all your children; when you fulfill some of the blessings of heaven, you place on them a severe obligation to bestow them upon others; you teach us through your servant that the rich man’s superfluous is the poor man’s good, and that he cannot withhold it without being guilty of injustice. Thanks be to you, Lord. So be it.
