Saints healing physical illnessesSaint Emerentiana is invoked against anemia.
INVOCATION:
Lord Jesus, source of all mercy, I come to throw myself at your feet imploring the help of a Saint Emérentienne. You know, O Lord, how much I wish to receive healing. I present my request to you through this virgin who is pure and kind in your eyes, hoping with confidence that, in remembrance of her torment, you will grant her the grace I ask her to ask you for.
Saint Emerentiana, whose miraculous virtue is an effective remedy against anaemia, pray for me.
PRAYER:
Lord, manifest your greatness and power to those who believe that force or artifice governs the things of this world, and that nothing that happens on earth is of interest to your providence and eternal wisdom; make these enemies of your glory feel that you are the first God of the present age as the God of eternity; and that if you sometimes suffer the wicked to prevail over the righteous, to test his faith and perfect his virtue, sooner or later things will return to their rightful place; and after you have used the wicked for some time to chastise and purify your servants, when your eternal purposes are fulfilled, you will reject him and break him like a vessel of shame and anger, and make him feel in the end, in humiliation and reproach, the punishment due to his violence and pride. So be it.
