Saint Aldric is invoked particularly to obtain the cure of cerebral congestion.
Saint Aldric was Bishop of Mans. His name has remained in veneration among the Manceaux, whom he miraculously preserved from a terrible epidemic of plague.

Invocation
Lord, who have been glorified in a special way by the virtues, the miracles and the death of Saint Aldric, Bishop of Mans, we beg you to listen favorably to the prayers that we address to you through the mediation of this great saint, your faithful servant. We pray to you through Jesus Christ Our Lord. So be it.
Saint Aldric, whom we invoke so effectively against cerebral congestion, pray for us.

My good Savior Jesus, it is with fear and trembling that I approach your altar, to witness your adorable sacrifice: and yet although I have no proper merit to present to you, I place all my trust in your mercy and in your love. Ah! I am in great need of it, Lord: for I have defiled my body and my soul many times with sin, and I have not kept my tongue and my heart as I should. Cleanse me, Lord. So be it.
