Saints Understanding
O You, whose name is Augusta Maxima, before whom men prostrate themselves and the powerful of this world bow down, Saint Theodora, sovereign imperial who at the feet of the Lord intercedes for
Men and command the spirits of the air, please send the Angel Deacon with long wings and the voice of a trumpet; may he proclaim the reign of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and may his voice destroy evil and pernicious communications.

Understanding between people is a very important element that conditions peace and cohesion. The Evil One knows this and always seeks to create divisions and conflicts. Satan knows that he has to rely on misunderstanding in his malicious aims. His main objective is therefore to destroy families. Because he knows that in the family, if there is mutual understanding between all family members, he will never succeed in any of his evil deeds. So he pits brothers and sisters against each other, children become disobedient and see their parents as enemies. Wars are created between families, neighbours, clans, countries, religions...
In order to prevent Satan, the terrible evil one before the Lord, from achieving his objectives of harm, we must seek to cultivate and perpetuate Understanding in our living environments, in our families, in our countries...
Prayer remains at the base, the only and most powerful weapon that can infuse us with the inner peace that will transform us, making each of us an instrument of peace that will spread understanding and harmony around us.
