Protection defeat enemies
Saint Patrick is one of the great Saints of the Church of Ireland. He is revered as the Illuminator of Ireland (387-465). by the force of Heaven,
light from Heaven,
sunlight,
shine of the moon,
splendor of Fire,
lightning speed,
wind speed,
depth of the sea,
stability of the earth,
solidity of the stone.

by the strength of God to guide me,
power of God to sustain me,
intelligence of God to lead me,
eye of God to look ahead of me,
ear of god to hear me
word of God to speak for me,
hand of God to keep me,
path of God to precede me,
shield of God to protect me,
army of God to save me,
nets of demons,
of the seductions of vices,
inclinations of nature,
of all the men who desire me harm,
far and near,
in solitude and in a multitude.
I call today all these forces
between me and evil,
against all ruthless cruel force
that attacks my body and my soul,
against the incantations of false prophets,
against the black laws of paganism,
against the false laws of heretics,
against the power of idolatry,
against the charms of sorcerers,
against all science that defiles
body and soul of man.
May Christ protect me today
against poison, against fire,
against drowning, against injury,
so that I receive a host of rewards,
Christ with me,
Christ before me,
Christ behind me,
Christ in me,
Christ above me,
Christ below me,
Christ on my right,
Christ on my left,
Christ in breadth,
Christ in length,
Christ in height,
Christ in the heart
of every man who thinks of me,
