Blessing formula of the medal of Saint Benedict. The graces, spiritual and temporal, obtained by recourse to the medal of Saint Benedict are innumerable. Of course, this is not a talisman and should not be used superstitiously. It is always divine mercy that must be invoked with confidence, through the merits of Saint Benedict.

The medal of St. Benedict bears a cross on one side. Between the branches of the cross are the initials:
C.S.P.B. - Crux Sancti Patris Benedicti - Cross of the Holy Father Benedict. Then, on the cross, the initials of the following verses:

On the vertical branch:
Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux - May the holy cross be my light.

On the horizontal branch :
Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux - May the dragon not be my guide.

On the border, from the top right :
Vade Retro Satana, Nunquam Suade Mihi Vana - Withdraw, Satan, never advise me your vanities.
Sunt Mala Quae Libas, Ipse Venena Bibas - The drinks you offer are evil; drink your poisons yourself.

At the top of the medal, in the centre, the monogram of Christ IHS. These are the first three letters of Jesus' name in the capitals of the Greek alphabet. In its place is sometimes seen the word PAX, which has become a motto of the Benedictine order.

The reverse side of the medal should reproduce the effigy of Saint. Benedict. This is usually surrounded by a legend.

Every Friday, the medal of Saint BENOIT must be blessed again with the following formula:

I exorcise you by + God the Father Almighty, who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that they contain: May every power of the enemy, every armed force of the devil, every incursion and every fantasy of Satan be snatched and driven out of this medal, so that to all those who will use it, it provides salvation for soul and body. In the name + of the Almighty Father, and + of Jesus Christ Our Lord, and + of the Holy Spirit Comforter, in the love of the same Lord Jesus Christ, who will come to judge the living and the dead and will make the world go through fire.

+ Amen.

+ Almighty God, dispenser of all good, we beg you, through (Our Father) Saint Benedict, to spread your blessing on this medal, so that all those who wear it and apply themselves to good works deserve to obtain the health of soul and body, the grace of sanctification, and the indulgences that have been granted to us; May they, with the help of your mercy, escape all the snares and deceptions of the devil, and one day appear holy and without blemish before your face. Through Christ, Our Lord.

+ Amen.

Graces obtained by the Medal of Saint Benedict

The graces, both spiritual and temporal, obtained through the use of the Medal of St. Benedict are innumerable. Of course, it is not a talisman and should not be used superstitiously. It is always divine mercy that must be invoked with confidence, through the merits of St. Benedict.

It is advisable to recite several Ave and Gloria and the prayers engraved on the medal: "May the Holy Cross be my light, and may the Dragon not be my leader. Withdraw, Satan, do not come to counsel me with vanities; the drink you pour is Evil, drink your own poisons".

The Medal must be blessed and indulged by a Benedictine or by a priest who has received the special privilege for this purpose. Anyone who habitually wears the Medal on their person can earn a plenary indulgence under the usual conditions (confession, communion, prayers for the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff).

1. Protection against the devil - In haunted houses, which had become uninhabitable, it was enough to place a medal of St. Benedict on one of the walls to stop the infestation immediately.

Protection

Protective prayers are prayers that aim to protect from the action of the forces of evil, as the name suggests. The minions of the evil one and all their spawn spend all their time attacking the children of God. By praying regularly for divine protection, you place yourself under the protection of the Most High, the One who is above all, the One before whom every knee bends. Thus, by praying the prayers of protection, God annihilates for you, in one way or another, all the attacks of malevolent forces.

By using God's power to protect you, you can embark on your endeavours with confidence that you will succeed, because God will deal with the negative forces that would try to harm you.

We all know the adage that says "the enemy never sleeps". touteslesprieres.com gathers through the keyword protection, all the prayers of protection which can be useful for you for this or that situation of the life.

With these prayers, have recourse with assurance to the protection of the Almighty who will strike down all entities that would try to obstruct your projects and your undertakings.
