Saint Anne Saints
Saint Anne,
it was to come and see you that I set out
and that I undertook this pilgrimage.
At the end of my human roads,
I return at last to you with my fatigue and my dreams,
with a thirsty heart, but a soul full of confidence.
I have let myself be carried along by the prayers of the thousands of pilgrims
who have called upon your benevolence over the centuries.
No one has set out again without having experienced your comfort.
Here I am before you, Saint Anne,
to beg you for a special grace.
In your privilege as a grandmother
intercede with Jesus
that I may receive this special favour,
if it is God's will.
I present myself with the confidence of a child
who has learned from Jesus himself
to ask for the daily bread
and all that can make life grow.
I entrust myself to your benevolent intercession
and place before you the material and spiritual needs of my family,
my loved ones
and of my brothers and sisters throughout the world.
Amen.
