Saints healing physical illnessesSaint Richarius is invoked to cure diseases of the respiratory tract.
INVOCATION:
Great Saint Richarius, who was animated with such great charity towards all human miseries, we beg you to intercede in this cruel illness with Our Lord, to obtain a cure. We beg you to lay our request at the feet of Jesus and of Mary his Mother. So be it.
Saint Richarius, filled with kindness and gentleness, pray for me.
PRAYER:
O sweet Jesus! you yourself are both the high priest and the victim: you are the temple where you have reconciled us, and you are also the God with whom we have been reconciled. This is why your holy cross has become the key to heaven, and a mirror for all of our life; it is placed like a candlestick to always light up your holy Church, and each man in particular: it is the pulpit from which you solemnly address these words to the faithful: He who wants to follow me in heaven must take up his cross here below and follow me, patiently suffering. So be it.
