Prières d'action de grâces
L’action de grâces est un acte de reconnaissance envers Dieu, venant du cœur et exprimé en paroles ou en actions. Nous sommes aimés du Seigneur, Il nous fait des faveurs et Il nous en fera encore.
En retour, Il attend de notre part la manifestation de nos remerciements, et Il nous enseigne que notre reconnaissance porte des fruits glorieux !
L’action de grâces est l’expression de notre reconnaissance associée à la conscience que tout ce pour quoi nous remercions est le fruit de la pure grâce de Dieu.
La réalisation de nos privilèges immérités doit produire des actions de grâces. Nous sommes exhortés à les joindre à nos demandes. «Exposez vos requêtes à Dieu par des prières et des supplications avec des actions de grâces» (Phil. 4:6). Paul écrit aux Colossiens : «Marchez en lui, enracinés et édifiés en lui, et affermis dans la foi... abondant en elle avec des actions de grâces» (2:7).
