Psalm 22
22.1
(22: 1) To the Chief Musician. On <>. Psalm of David. (22: 2) My God! my God! why have you forsaken me, And go away without helping me, without listening to my complaints?

(22: 3) My God! I cry by day, and you do not answer; At night, and I have no rest.

(22: 4) Yet you are the Holy One, You sit in the midst of the praises of Israel.

(22: 5) In you our fathers trusted; They trusted, and you delivered them.

(22: 6) They cried out to you, and were saved; They trusted in you, and they were not ashamed.

(22: 7) And I am a worm and not a man, The reproach of men and the despised of the people.

(22: 8) All who see me laugh at me, they open their mouths, shake their heads:

(22: 9) Commit yourself to the Lord! The Lord will save him, he will deliver him, since he loves him! -

(22:16) My strength is withered like clay, and my tongue clings to my palate; You reduce me to the dust of death.

(22:17) For dogs surround me, a band of scoundrels prowl around me, They have pierced my hands and my feet.

(22:19) They divide my clothes, They draw lots for my tunic.

(22:20) And you, Lord, do not go far away! You who are my strength, come to my aid in haste!

(22:21) Protect my soul from the sword, My life from the power of dogs!

(22:22) Save me from the mouth of the lion, deliver me from the horns of the buffalo!

(22:23) I will proclaim your name among my brethren; I will give thanks to you in the midst of the assembly.

(22:24) You who fear the Lord, praise him! All you descendants of Jacob, glorify him! Tremble before him, all you descendants of Israel!

(22:25) For he neither despises nor disdains the pains of the poor, neither hides his face from him; But he listens to her when he shouts at him.

(22:26) You will be the object of my praise in the great assembly; I will fulfill my vows in the presence of those who fear you.

Human beings are in a constant struggle on all levels against the forces of darkness, against the elements of nature and against their fellow human beings.
The psalms can be used by humans in this perpetual struggle against the forces of evil. With the psalms we can praise God, ask for the prosperity of the earth's goods, implore graces and blessings, ask for protection against enemies, defeat enemies, cure physical and spiritual illnesses, ask for help in court trials, for good luck, to ask for God's help in all circumstances, against fire, storms, storms, to have a good journey, etc.
It is important to know, as in everything we can undertake, to have FAITH. For FAITH lifts mountains. With faith, everything can succeed, whatever the obstacles.
