Success Saints
I turn to you Saint John, whose fame surpasses all men of knowledge.
What you write is true, for you serve the uncreated Word, the immortal Son of God. In these days of anguish, restore my spirit and my intelligence, frightened before the trial, and strengthen my heart troubled by the spirits of anguish.
Holy one with a golden mouth, you who from God know the secrets and from heaven know wisdom, allow the angel of knowledge to guide Me and his light to illuminate Me, making my conscience clear and my memory faithful.
On the edge of Jacob's well, I await the Master so that he may drink from the living water; tell him, Saint John, that I await him, and that drinking from the divine stream, I may defy the spirits of the air who wish to make Me fall.
