Saint Luke was born in Antioch. After brilliant studies, he became a doctor. He was also a very talented painter.
Attracted by the fame of Jesus, he went to see him and left everything to follow him, having heard Jesus say: "Whoever wants to become my disciple, leave everything and follow me. »
He wrote the Gospel that bears his name. He followed Saint Paul in his travels and supported him firmly in all his endeavours.
Saint Luke is the patron saint of painters and doctors. Saint Luke is particularly invoked to obtain the healing of impotence.

INVOCATION:
Lord Jesus, give us the grace, following the example of Saint Luke, to love you with all our soul, with all our spirit and with all our strength, grant us also the grace to serve you every day of our life , in order to deserve to be answered in all the requests which we address to you through the intermediary of Saint Luke, and that, by the effectiveness of his prayers, we obtain a perfect health of the soul and the body. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Luke, who will obtain health of body and soul for those who call on you, pray for us.

PRAYER:
O my Jesus! who, on the cross, have delivered and lovingly loved us, poor sinners that we are; I also want to love you with all my love, because of your righteousness, directing all my actions towards it, and suffering with joy, for love for you, all afflictions and all troubles. So be it.
