Understanding Liberation Forgiveness Spirituality eternal life
We ask you,
O Jesus, may your priests be holy
among all because you are holy;
because they are called
to form the people of the saints;
because you have deposited in their hands
all the interests of the Church,
your mystical wife;
because if they weren't holy,
their words would not penetrate
in souls to carry there,
with illuminating truth,
compunction that converts,
the consolation that encourages,
the strength that triumphs over enemies of salvation;
because if they weren't holy,
their examples instead of edifying,
would turn into a scandal for the weak,
and they would lose those they had to save.
O Jesus, spare souls,
spare your Church,
spare yourself the ordeal
to see paralyzed by neglect,
unused by lukewarmness, these doctors,
these judges and fathers of our souls,
these co-operators of your mission
for the redemption of the world.
Rather than your divine Spirit
set them ablaze with the zeal of your charity
as he did for the Apostles,
and that it consumes them in you
to the glory of the Heavenly Father.
So be it.

Understanding between people is a very important element that conditions peace and cohesion. The Evil One knows this and always seeks to create divisions and conflicts.
