I pray you, Saint Eleutherius, by the God who commands the winds, the storm and the sea, to procure me salvation by force from on high: Clothe me, holy Martyr, with the armor of spiritual athletes , giving me the power that you showed before the executioners of your body; seizing them with awe at the trial you have been through in the name of Jesus Christ.
