Prayer:
Lord, we give you thanks
for all your blessings,
you who live and reign forever and ever,
Amen.
Heavenly Father,
Bless you for this meal that has brought us together.
And since man does not live by bread alone..,
make us hungry for your word.
Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
Give me a good digestion, Lord,
and also something to digest.
Give me the health of the body
with a sense of keeping it as good as possible.
Give me a holy soul, Lord,
who has eyes on beauty and purity,
so that she would not be dismayed when she saw sin,
but know how to rectify the situation.
Give me a soul that ignores boredom,
the groan and the sigh.
Don't allow me to worry too much
for this laudable choice that I call myself.
Lord give me humor
so that I pull some happiness
of this life and sharing it with others.
