Saint Remaclus was born in France, in Berry, in the 7th century. He was bishop of Maastricht where he is particularly honoured.
He is invoked on all sorts of occasions and to obtain all sorts of graces, because he was the father of the poor, the consolation of the afflicted, the light of the Catholics, the model of Christian piety.
He was particularly recommended to married women who did not have children.
Married women also recommend themselves to him to bring back to them a lost husband.

INVOCATION:
O God infinitely good, to whom nothing is impossible, we beseech you, by the prayers and the merits of Saint Remaclus, to accompany with favors of your goodness what you have established by your providence, and that the parents who implore the effect of your blessing may bless you and their children for all eternity. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Remaclus, so favorable to parents who desire children, answer the prayers we address to you on this day.

PRAYER:
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, who, for our redemption, have been willing to be born among us, to be circumcised, condemned by the Jews, delivered by the kiss of Judas, taken, bound and led in chains to Anna, to Caiaphas, to Herod, to Pilate, and there to suffer a thousand affronts, to receive submissions, punches and lashes, to be struck with a reed, crowned with thorns, covered with spit, to be blindfolded, to be accused by false witnesses, to be condemned by an unjust sentence, to carry, like an innocent lamb, your cross to the place of execution, to be pierced with blows, to drink with gall and vinegar, to suffer on the cross the most ignominious death and to be wounded with a lance: deign, I beg you by these divine sufferings, to deliver us from all sin and all pain; deign, by your holy cross, to lead us, miserable sinners that we are, to where you have led with you the crucified and penitent thief. So be it.
