Saints healing physical illnesses
Saint Balthazar is invoked against epilepsy. Saint Balthazar is one of the three Three Kings, the black one, who came to adore the Baby Jesus in the manger. It was he who brought the myrrh. Although he died in the East, where he spread the news that a Savior was born into the world, his body was said to be brought to Cologne along with those of Saints Gaspar and Melchior. The relics of these three saints are therefore honored in Cologne (Germany).
Invocation
O Almighty God, who sent a miraculous star to the holy wise men to guide them and lead them to the feet of him who is the eternal light, we beseech you to grant us, through the special intercession of Saint Balthazar, the graces that we are asking for. We beg you by N.-S. AD So be it.
Saint Balthazar, patron of epilepsy, pray for us.
Prayer
O my Jesus! I never want to separate myself from your holy cross again: for it is the precious tree which was consecrated by your blood; which bears the salutary fruits of grace, and which nourishes our souls with heavenly food. So I want to love him with all my love, with all my heart, with all my strength. So be it.

However, these patients continue to suffer, awaiting their end in pain and suffering. Yet, some do not give up. When all seems lost, they turn to the Creator, the Eternal Father, in prayer. And some sometimes find healing.
Some illnesses have a spiritual origin. For these kinds of illnesses, modern medicine alone cannot overcome them. Spirituality, traditional and alternative medicines often play a vital role in leading to healing.
The healing of physical illnesses through prayer thus touches upon faith, spirituality, and medicine.
In many religious traditions, prayer is considered a source of comfort, inner peace, and hope. It can:
Throughout history, many religious figures (Jesus Christ, prophets, saints, etc.) are often associated with stories of healing. This nourishes and strengthens the faith of many believers.
The benefits of prayer for human beings are undeniable.
However, it is essential to remain clear-headed:
Prayer can be a powerful tool for the heart and mind, and sometimes indirectly help the body. But for physical healing, it should be seen as a complement, not a substitute, to medical care.
Medical treatments (doctors, medication), spiritual support (prayer, family, religious community), and psychological support often form a good combination for healing.
On toutesLesPrieres.com, you are offered prayers to inspire you, to help you find the words and strengthen your faith in the quest for healing from physical illnesses.
