Saints
Saint Gaucherius is invoked to obtain protection from unforeseeable and disastrous accidents. Saint Gaucherius was appointed by God to found monasteries on the soil of France. He had all the qualities that make a men's coach. He also possessed the most precious virtues: charity, humility, love of neighbor, total faith in God. And he had to have it all, for this convent builder was a hermit by taste and would have liked to pray to God in solitude. It was while looking for a suitable location for the establishment of a monastery that he fell from his horse to death. He died on the earth at the foot of a tree, urging his brothers to be courageous.
INVOCATION
O my almighty God, may we be strengthened in the love of your holy name by all the goods and all the favors with which you will bestow on us in memory of Saint Gaucherius your servant, who served you so faithfully and whom you deign to glorify every day in such a wonderful way. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Gaucherius, who will obtain health of body and soul and who will protect those who call on you from all misfortune, pray for us.
PRAYER
O God, wisdom and infinite love, you know and want what is useful and beneficial to us; Please do us the grace not to have on earth, like the angels and the blessed in heaven, any other will than yours. So be it.
