(Prayer to say in case of conflict of married life)
“Louis and Zélie Martin, you who, in your life as a couple and as parents, have given witness to an exemplary Christian life, by exercising your duty of state and practicing the evangelical virtues, we turn to you today.
May the example of your unwavering confidence in God and your constant abandonment to his will, through the joys but also the trials, sorrows and sufferings with which your life has been marked, encourage us to persevere in our daily difficulties and to to remain in Christian hope and joy.
Intercede for us with the Father so that we may obtain the graces we so much need today in our earthly life and so that we, like you, achieve eternal beatitude. Amen. "
"God of eternal love, you give us in the blessed husbands Louis and Zélie Martin, an example of holiness lived in marriage. They kept faith and hope amidst the duties and difficulties of life. They raised their children to be Saints.
May their prayer and their example support families in their Christian life and help us all to walk towards Holiness. If such is Your will, deign to grant us the Grace that we now ask of you through their intercession, and deign to register them among the number of Saints in your Church.
