Psalm 80
1 From the singing master. On the air: Lilies are the precepts. From Asaph. Psalm.
2 Shepherd of Israel, listen, you who lead Joseph like a flock; you who sit on the Cherubim, shine
3 Before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh, awaken your valor and come to our aid.
4 God, bring us back, make your face shine, and we will be saved.
5 How long, Yahweh God of Sabaoth, will you catch fire against the prayers of your people?
6 Thou hast fed him with the bread of tears, and made him drink three times measure;
7 you make us a question for our neighbors and our enemies laugh at us.
8 God Sabaoth, bring us back, make your face shine, and we will be saved.
9 He was a vineyard: you pluck it out of Egypt, you drive out the nations to plant it;
10 You make a clean place before her; she takes root and fills the land.
11 The mountains were covered with its shadow, and the cedars of God with its branches;
12 she stretched out her branches to the sea, and to the side of the river her shoots.
13 Why hast thou broken open its fences, and every passing by the road hastily gathered it,
14 Will the wild boar ravage it, and the beast of the field devour it?
15 God Sabaoth, come back at last, observe from the heavens and see, visit this vineyard
16 Protect her which your right hand has planted.
17 They have burned it with fire like refuse; at the reproach of your face they will perish.
18 Thy hand be upon the man on thy right hand, the son of Adam whom thou hast confirmed.
19 Never again will we go far from you; bring us back to life, call on your name.
20 Yahweh God of Sabaoth, bring us back, make your face shine, and we will be saved.

There are 150 psalms in the Bible and they are attributed to King David. According to some beliefs, each psalm has a key, a secret, which, when used with the psalm, can solve a specific problem.
In the Koran, the Book of Psalms is called the Zabur.
Human beings are in a constant struggle on all levels against the forces of darkness, against the elements of nature and against their fellow human beings.
The psalms can be used by humans in this perpetual struggle against the forces of evil. With the psalms we can praise God, ask for the prosperity of the earth's goods, implore graces and blessings, ask for protection against enemies, defeat enemies, cure physical and spiritual illnesses, ask for help in court trials, for good luck, to ask for God's help in all circumstances, against fire, storms, storms, to have a good journey, etc.
It is important to know, as in everything we can undertake, to have FAITH. For FAITH lifts mountains. With faith, everything can succeed, whatever the obstacles.
