Spirituality Success1 Corinthians 13 is a kind of fulfillment of the law. It is the shortcut that leads to health, harmony and success. It is the royal way, the Golden Gate.
When I speak with the tongues of men and angels, if I have not charity, I am a resounding brass, or a resounding cymbal. And when I have the gift of prophecy, the knowledge of all mysteries and all knowledge, when I have all faith even to the point of carrying mountains, if I do not have charity, I am nothing. And when I distribute all my goods for the food of the poor, when I even give up my body to be burned, if I do not have charity, it is of no use to me. Charity is patient, it is full of goodness; charity is not envious; charity does not boast, it does not swell with pride,
It does not do anything dishonest, it does not seek its own interest, it does not get angry, it does not suspect evil, it does not rejoice in injustice, but rejoices in the truth; it excuses everything, it believes everything, it hopes everything, it endures everything. Charity never perishes.
Prophecies will come to an end, tongues will cease, knowledge will disappear. For we know in part, and prophesy in part; but when that which is perfect shall come, that which is partial shall perish. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child; when I became a man, I put away that which was of the child. Today we see through a mirror, in a dark way, but then we will see face to face; today I know in part, but then I will know as I was known.
Now therefore these three things remain: faith, hope, charity; but the greatest of these things is charity.
