Prayer of liberation and healing of the family tree (Jean Pliya)

Whoever prays with this text never speaks directly to the deceased, and never directly commands the forces of evil ("ties"), but in this prayer we are always addressing Jesus Christ. This is why one can pray this prayer oneself in the absence of a priest, keeping in mind the recommendations of the magisterium concerning the liberation prayers used by the faithful (1). We can also pray this prayer 9 times, during a novena before the reconciliation mass.

Lord Jesus Christ, You are the suffering Servant, You have taken upon Yourself the iniquity, faults and chastisement of all, and You have offered us healing and liberation. You are the Just "who bear the sins of multitudes and intercede for the criminals" (Is 53, 12). You went to preach to the spirits of the dead to save them (1P3, 19).

I come to You on behalf of all the deceased members of my family. Please accept me as the spokesperson, the representative of all ancestors, of all deceased members of all genealogical lines, of all generations that are not yet in Your Love. Please cover them with Your Precious Blood: “May the waters of baptism flow back to all the past generations of my family tree.” You, Jesus, You have reconciled us to God the Father of mercies and all consolation and “you have entrusted us the ministry of reconciliation ”(2Co 5,18). I invoke the forgiveness of your Cross on them all. I set up and plant the cross of Jesus in all the generations that came before me. I also want to forgive, to bless all the ancestors who left negative influences in our descendants (say their names and their offenses, in silence). Through You, O merciful Christ, we, their descendants (say the names), forgive them from the bottom of

our hearts and we bless them. We assure them in the name of Jesus, that none of us, no living they know, resent them, judge them, criticize them or condemn them for any act they have committed during their life. earthly.

Forgive us Lord our own sins that we confess to you. Through your pierced Heart, O Jesus, we ask their forgiveness from the bottom of our hearts if we have offended them, if because of us they have been unhappy, wounded, victims of hatred, violence, shame, hunger, of injustice and if we didn't love them the way they wanted.

Now we want to “confess the sins and iniquities of our fathers” (Lev 26:40), and repent for them.

Merciful Lord, we ask your forgiveness for all the sins for which they did not repent and did not ask You for forgiveness (sins to be said in silence). I repent for any murders, abortions, injustices they committed, any family feuds they had, over matters of property and property that have divided us. I repent and renounce any moral perversion or involvement they had in the occult, spiritualism, esotericism, voodoo, fetishism. In their name, I reject Satan and all his evil works. I especially repent of their transgression of God's first commandment and their worship of false gods and idols. I renounce and formally oppose all their bad practices and all the consequences of their mental ties ... I reject anything that may have been unhappy and messy in my family's marriages. I put an end to all the hatred rooted in my family. Jesus, may Your divine mercy forgive them all their sins.

May Your Precious Blood wash them away from all iniquity, cut all ties.

May they be reconciled with the living and the dead by the grace of the Eucharistic Sacrament of Christ who died for them, and enter into the peace and communion of Your Love, into the eternal joy of the Risen Christ. May all their descendants affected by their disobedience or rebellion be loosed from all curse, healed and delivered in Jesus' Name. Do not allow their sins to afflict our family again.We also ask forgiveness from all deceased children, premature deaths, stillbirths of our family and our genealogical line, especially aborted babies, victims of miscarriages or babies. ectopic pregnancies that we have hurt, rejected, neglected, for which we have not prayed or had masses said. May Jesus welcome them into his pierced Heart! May Mary the Immaculate Mother take them in her arms and console them! May they be released from all blockages that weigh on them and on the members of their families.

Lord Jesus Christ, we present to you the dead known and unknown to us, in our family tree (especially those of the family trees that we place in the spirit on the altar during a mass). We abandon them to Your holy mercy. Let them experience our love and Your forgiveness.

Lord, if there are people you desire to save and others who seek you, unborn children, adults, draw their souls closer to you; allow their angels to bring them out of darkness and lead them even today to paradise, to your kingdom by the grace of Jesus Christ Our Risen Lord.

O our Lord our God, we thank you, we bless you and we glorify you.
