Psalm 90 to protect oneself from an evil spirit or a ghost

If you happen to meet by accident a lion in the forest, or if you are tormented by an evil spirit or a ghost, fix in the spirit the Holy Name SHADDEI and recite this psalm, thus the lion or the evil spirit is will withdraw itself. If you want to be much safer when such a danger strikes you, recite both Psalms 90 and 91.

Psalm 90 90.1 Prayer of Moses, man of God. Lord! you have been a refuge for us, from generation to generation. 90.2 Before the mountains were born and you created the earth and the world, You were God from everlasting to everlasting. 90.3 Thou bringest back men to the dust, and sayest, Son of man, return! 90.4 For a thousand years are in your eyes as the day of yesterday, when it is no more, and as a night watch. 90.5 You carry them away, like a dream, which in the morning pass like grass: 90.6 In the morning it blooms, and it passes; They cut it in the evening, and it withers. 90.7 We are consumed with your anger,

And your fury terrifies us. 90.8 Thou setest our iniquities before thee, and our hidden sins in the light of thy face. 90.9 All our days are gone by your wrath; We see our years fading away like a sound. 90.10 The days of our years are seventy years, and the strongest are eighty years; And the pride they derive from it is pain and misery, For it passes quickly, and we fly away. 90.11 Who takes heed to the strength of your anger, and to your anger, according to your fear due to you? 90.12 Teach us to number our days well, so that we may apply our hearts to wisdom. 90.13 Return, O Lord! Until when? ... Have pity on your servants! 90.14 Satisfy us every morning with your loving kindness, and we will be full of joy and gladness all our lives. 90.15 Rejoice for us as many days as thou hast humbled us, as many years as we have seen calamity. 90.16 Let thy work be manifested unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. 90.17 The grace of the LORD our God be upon us.
