The first psalm is to be recited by a sensual person who has become a slave to his passion and who wishes to get rid of it. This person should recite the psalm in question every day over the water he drinks.
The second psalm must be recited daily by those who wish to overcome their enemies.

Psalm 69
69.1
(69: 1) To the Chief Musician. On the lilies. From David. (69: 2) Save me, O God! Because the waters threaten my life.
69.2
(69: 3) I sink into the mud, unable to stand; I have fallen into a pit, and the waters are flooding me.
69.3
(69: 4) I cry out, my throat withers, My eyes burn, while I look to my God.
69.4
(69: 5) They are more than the hairs of my head, Those who hate me without a cause; They are powerful, those who want to lose me, Who are wrongly my enemies. What I did not steal I must return.
69.5
(69: 6) O God! you know my folly, And my faults are not hidden from you.
69.6
(69: 7) Let not those who hope in you be ashamed because of me, Lord GOD of hosts! May those who seek you not be ashamed because of me, God of Israel!
69.7
(69: 8) For it is for you that I bear reproach, Let shame cover my face;
69.8
(69: 9) I have become a stranger to my brothers, A stranger to my mother's sons.
69.9
(69:10) For zeal for your house has devoured me, and the reproaches of those who revile you have fallen on me.
69.10
(69:11) I shed tears and I fast, And this is what brings reproach to me;
69.11
(69:12) I take a sackcloth for my garment, and I am the object of their sarcasm.
69.12
(69:13) Those who sit at the door speak of me, And the drinkers of strong liquor sing me to songs.
69.13
(69:14) But I address my prayer to you, O Lord! May it be the right time, O God, by your great kindness! Answer me, assuring me your help!
69.14
(69:15) Get me out of the mud, and let me not sink in! May I be delivered from my enemies and from the abyss!
69.15
(69:16) Let the waves not flood me any more, neither let the deep swallow me up, nor the pit close over me!
69.16
(69:17) Hear me, O Lord! for your goodness is immense. In your great compassion, turn your gaze to me,
69.17
(69:18) And do not hide your face from your servant! Since I am in distress, hurry to answer me!
69.18
(69:19) Draw near to my soul, deliver it! Save me, because of my enemies!
69.19
(69:20) You know my reproach, my shame, my ignominy; All my opponents are in front of you.
69.20
(69:21) Disgrace breaks my heart, and I am sick; I wait for pity, but in vain, Comforters, and I find none.
69.21
(69:22) They put gall in my food, and to quench my thirst they make me drink vinegar.
69.22
(69:23) Let their table be a snare to them, and a net in the midst of their safety!
69.23
(69:24) Let their eyes darken and see no more, And continually make their loins stumble!
69.24
(69:25) Pour out your anger upon them, and let your fierce anger overtake them.
69.25
(69:26) May their abode be desolate, May there be no more inhabitants in their tents!
69.26
(69:27) For they persecute him whom you strike, they tell of the sufferings of those whom you wound.
69.27
(69:28) Add iniquities to their iniquities, and let them not share in your mercy!
69.28
(69:29) May they be blotted out from the book of life, and may not be inscribed with the righteous!
69.29
(69:30) I am miserable and suffering: O God, may your help raise me up!
69.30
(69:31) I will praise the name of God with songs, I will exalt him with praise.
69.31
(69:32) This is pleasing to the Lord, more than a bull With horns and hooves.
69.32
(69:33) The poor see it and rejoice; You who seek God, may your heart live!
69.33
(69:34) For the LORD hears the poor, and does not despise his captives.
69.34
(69:35) May the heavens and the earth praise him, the seas and all that moves in them!
69.35
(69:36) For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah; They will settle there, and take possession of it;
69.36
(69:37) The seed of his servants will inherit him, and those who love his name will dwell there.
Psalm 70
70.1
(70: 1) To the Chief Musician. From David. To remember. (70: 2) O God, hurry to deliver me! O Lord, hurry to help me!
70.2
(70: 3) Let them be ashamed and confused, those who want my life! May they recoil and blush, those who desire my downfall!
70.3
(70: 4) Let them turn back by the effect of their shame, Those who say: Ah! ah!
70.4
(70: 5) May all who seek you be glad and rejoice in you! May those who love your salvation say without ceasing: Exalted be God!
70.5
(70: 6) I am poor and needy: O God, hurry on my behalf! You are my help and my deliverer: Lord, do not delay!
