Psalm 86
1 Prayer. From David. Listen, Yahweh, answer me, poor and unhappy that I am;
2 keep my soul, for I am your friend; save your servant who trusts in you. You are my God,
3 have mercy on me, Lord, it is you whom I call all day;
4 Make the soul of your servant rejoice, when I lift up my soul to you, Lord.
5 Lord, you are forgiveness and goodness, full of love for all who call you;
6 Yahweh, hear my prayer, attentive to the voice of my complaint.
7 In the day of trouble I call you, for you answer me, Lord;
8 among the gods, not one like you, nothing like your works.
9 All the Gentiles will come to worship You, Lord, and give glory to Your name;
10 For you are great and you do wonders, you, God, and you alone.
11 Teach me, Yahweh, your ways, that I may walk in your truth; gather my heart to fear your name.
12 I give you thanks with all my heart, Lord my God, forever I will give glory to your name,
13 For great is thy love for me; thou hast drawn my soul from the depths of Sheol.
14 O God, the proud have risen up against me, a band of madmen chase after my soul, there is no place for you before them.
15 But you, Lord, God of tenderness and mercy, slow to anger, full of love and truth,
16 turn to me, have mercy on me! Give your servant your strength and your salvation to the son of your handmaid,
17 show me kindness. They will see, my enemies, and will be ashamed, for you, Yahweh, help me and console me.

There are 150 psalms in the Bible and they are attributed to King David. According to some beliefs, each psalm has a key, a secret, which, when used with the psalm, can solve a specific problem.
In the Koran, the Book of Psalms is called the Zabur.
Human beings are in a constant struggle on all levels against the forces of darkness, against the elements of nature and against their fellow human beings.
The psalms can be used by humans in this perpetual struggle against the forces of evil. With the psalms we can praise God, ask for the prosperity of the earth's goods, implore graces and blessings, ask for protection against enemies, defeat enemies, cure physical and spiritual illnesses, ask for help in court trials, for good luck, to ask for God's help in all circumstances, against fire, storms, storms, to have a good journey, etc.
It is important to know, as in everything we can undertake, to have FAITH. For FAITH lifts mountains. With faith, everything can succeed, whatever the obstacles.
