(48: 5) For, behold, the kings had agreed together: They only passed by together.
48.5
(48: 6) They looked in amazement, They were afraid, and fled.
48.6
(48: 7) There a trembling seized them, Like the pain of a woman in childbirth.
48.7
(48: 8) They were driven out as by the east wind, Which shatters the ships of Tarshish.
48.8
(48: 9) What we had heard said we saw In the city of the Lord of hosts, In the city of our God: God will make it stand forever. -Pause.
48.9
(48:10) O God, we are thinking of your goodness In the midst of your temple.
48.10
(48:11) Like your name, O God! Your praise resounds to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness.
48.11
(48:12) Mount Zion rejoices; the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your judgments.
48.12
(48:13) Go through Zion, go through its enclosure, Count its turns,
48.13
(48:14) Observe its rampart, Examine its palaces, To tell it to the next generation.
48.14
(48:15) This is the God who is our God forever and ever; He will be our guide until death.
