I glorify you, Most Holy Father, Creator God,
because you have done great things in me
and that a child will be born from this human love
that you have blessed.
Jesus, Son of God,
that allow me to adore you
under the charming features of the nursery baby,
I consecrate to you my little one, your brother.
Enrich it with the most beautiful gifts of nature and grace.
May he be your joy on earth,
in eternity your glory!
Holy Spirit, cover me with your shadow
during these blessed months of waiting,
so that nothing can harm my child.
Help me face my new responsibility,
to know how to organize myself to stay in physical shape
and available to my husband, our children and others.
And you, Virgin Mary, Queen of mothers,
give me the dynamism of Hope,
so that from now on our child is imbued with it.
Make our home, by the blossoming of this life,
is enriched by a greater love.
Mother of Bel Amour, teach me to offer all my fatigue
so that our home opens to life in God
by welcoming, sharing and giving to others.
So be it.
