Jesus Spirituality eternal life
I accept, O my God, death and all the pains that will accompany it for me; I unite them to the pains and death of Jesus Christ; I offer them to you to honor your sovereign domain and in satisfaction of my sins. Accept, Lord, this sacrifice that I make to you of my life; please enjoy it because of the great sacrifice that your divine Son made of himself on the altar of the Cross.
I resign myself from that moment, for the hour of my death, to whatever you command me, and I protest that I want to die, saying: Lord, may your will be fulfilled! Holy Virgin, my Patroness, my Mother, you are, after God, my consolation and my hope, and you will still be so when my end comes. From now on I implore you and I implore you to assist me in this last passage. Do not abandon me at this terrible moment: then come and take my soul and present it to your Son. I am already waiting for you, and I hope to die under your protection, stretched out at your feet. Saint Joseph, Saint Michael the Archangel, my good Angel, my patron saints, help me in this last fight against my enemies and hell.
And you, O my Jesus, my crucified Savior, who to obtain for me a good death, have chosen such a bitter death, remember, on this day, that I am one of those sheep redeemed by your Blood. You alone, when all those on earth have forsaken me, and no one can help me any longer, you alone can console me, save me; make me worthy, at this supreme hour, to receive you for the viaticum of my journey; do not allow me to lose you forever, to go away from you forever. My beloved Savior, then receive me in your sacred wounds, to which, in advance, I dare to approach my lips. When I breathe my last, I want to exhale my soul into the wound on your side; wounded by love, I want my last word to be: Jesus and Mary, I give you my heart. So be it. My Father, your will be done, and not mine.

Jesus Christ is a central figure in Christianity. He is regarded as the incarnation of God.
The historical existence of Jesus is attested by archaeological research and by the accounts of Roman historians (Flavius Josephus, Tacitus, Suetonius).
At about the age of thirty, Jesus left Nazareth and began an itinerant public life. He calls his disciples and walks with them through Judea and Galilee. He teaches, he heals the sick, casts out demons, walks on water, forgives sins, raises the dead. He is attentive to children. He shares meals, a wedding party, pilgrimages to Jerusalem. He lives as a Jewish believer, goes to the synagogue, observes the Sabbath. He weeps, gets angry, experiences sadness, fatigue and thirst, compassion and even anguish. Jesus is known for his natural authority.
With all the miracles he performed, Jesus is the one to whom prayers should be addressed no matter what difficulties one faces.
