Temptation is a challenge that each person faces throughout their lives. Understanding the nature of temptation, its dangers, and how to resist it can strengthen our resolve and deepen our faith.
Temptation is the enticement to engage in sin, while sin is the actual act of disobeying God's will. It's important to remember that God does not tempt us, but we are tempted by our own sinful desires and worldly passions.
Here is a powerful prayer for wisdom to avoid temptation.
Prayer:
Father God, You freely give wisdom to those who come to You. When faced with temptation, I am often confused and foolish, and through my immaturity, I make the situation worse. Give me the wisdom to avoid compromising situations. You tell me to watch and pray so that I will not fall into temptation. I need You to open my eyes so I both watch and then actually see what may be hidden. Give me clarity of thought so I recognize sinful dangers in time to escape them. Help me glorify Your Son in everything I do in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

To God, the being above all, nothing is impossible. Everything is possible with him. Whatever difficulties you find yourself in, trust in him, have faith. Pray to him and he will answer you.

Jesus Christ is a central figure in Christianity. He is regarded as the incarnation of God.
The historical existence of Jesus is attested by archaeological research and by the accounts of Roman historians (Flavius Josephus, Tacitus, Suetonius).
At about the age of thirty, Jesus left Nazareth and began an itinerant public life. He calls his disciples and walks with them through Judea and Galilee. He lives as a Jewish believer, goes to the synagogue, observes the Sabbath. He weeps, gets angry, experiences sadness, fatigue and thirst, compassion and even anguish. Jesus is known for his natural authority.
With all the miracles he performed, Jesus is the one to whom prayers should be addressed no matter what difficulties one faces.

The road to God is far from being a long, quiet river. It is strewn with all kinds of pitfalls, including temptations. All those who are spiritually inclined know something about this.
Every day, the attacks of the evil one, who acts through thoughts or our fellow men, are without respite. Awake or asleep, temptations come from all sides. Fortunately, prayer is a powerful weapon through which God acts in our lives, to prevent us from succumbing to the traps of the evil one and his minions.
