Virgin Mary
“O Mary, Immaculate Virgin, holy Mother of God, exalted by the Lord as the queen of the Universe to be more completely conformed to your Son, Lord of lords, victorious over sin and death, we come to you full of trust and filial affection.
We are delighted to be able to greet you, along with the saints of our land, as Queen of France.
For our part, we want to ratify our country's baptismal commitments in Reims. We want, in our time, to renew the consecration of our persons to God through the intercession of your Immaculate Heart.
Following your example and with your assistance, we want to commit ourselves to following Christ, your divine Son, in a genuinely evangelical life.
By worship and praise to God;
By our fidelity to the commandments of the Lord and to the spirit of the beatitudes;
Through our personal and permanent conversion;
Through our effective solidarity with all those who are deprived of spiritual and material goods.
We want, O Queen of Peace, to listen to you in order to be artisans of mercy and peace, in our families, our professions, our cities, in the whole of society and thus "build the civilization of love" .
Our Lady of France, Queen of Peace, intercede for us! "
