Saint Catherine of Sweden is invoked by pregnant women who fear miscarriage and who ardently desire to give birth to a viable child.
Saint Catherine was the daughter of a prince of Sweden and Saint Bridget. Raised in a monastery, she grew in grace and holiness. Her life, which she continually offered to God, was a kind of joyful martyr in the sense that all that she suffered, the mortifications she imposed on herself, made her more and more like her Lord Jesus.

INVOCATION:
Deign, O my God, to make me find in Saint Catherine of Sweden a powerful and charitable advocate with you to avert from me the misfortune which threatens me. May she lead me, by her protection, safe and sound through dangers, so that the glory of your name may shine forth and that I may bless you eternally, O my God. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it
Saint Catherine of Sweden, whose protection is felt by the mothers of families who invoke you, pray for us.

PRAYER:
Good Jesus, laid down from the cross, and watered the tears of your desolate mother, have mercy on me, Lord, have mercy on me. So be it.
