Be there, Lord, support me. Detach my heart from everything, set it free so that nothing prevents it from seeing you. Break my will, lower my pride, O you so humble of heart.
Shape my heart so that it may be your beloved dwelling place, so that you may come to rest there and converse with me in an ideal union. Let this poor heart, Lord, become one with yours... You alone can fill its solitude. May I seek nothing apart from you, only you are capable of satisfying me.
