SaintsOne invokes Saint Gemma to obtain the healing of burns. Saint Gemma, predestined by God, sick from a very young age, received the dreaded privilege of the Holy Stigmata. Rejected by all the convents she entered, she died offering to God the immense pain of not having been able to be a servant of Christ under a nun's habit.
INVOCATION:
Lord, have mercy on me.
Jesus Christ, have mercy on me.

Jesus Christ, hear me.
Our Father, have mercy on me.
Saint Gemma, through your merits and your intercession, obtain healing for me.
PRAYER:
Holy servant and friend of God, whom the Church has given me as a patron and which she commands me to look upon as my protector, I have recourse to you and I address myself to you with confidence; It is only under your name that the Church knows me and counts me among her children, and all other names must yield to the one who warns me that I am a Christian and called to eternal life.
I desire to be your imitator, as you have been of Jesus Christ; lead me according to the model you have given us; give up on myself; carry my cross; not to love the world; abstain from the very shadow of evil; abide in charity, obey God out of love, and suffer with Jesus Christ in order to reign with him. This is why I offer myself your example, and I ask for your assistance.
Pray for me, obtain for me the grace to fulfill all the commitments of my baptism, to live as a perfect Christian, to prepare myself for death, and to do nothing that dishonors a name which comes to me from you and which is already written in the sky. So be it.
