to God in the morning
+ In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Lord, as a week comes to an end, a week received from you, I thank you for guiding my every step. As a father watches over his child, you have watched over me. A new week is beginning, I confie it to you, may it be marked with the seal of your love for all men, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Psalm 62: I seek you from the dawn
2 God, you are my God; I seek you from the dawn:
My soul thirsts for you; my flesh yearns for you, a dry, thirsty land without water.
3 I have seen you in the sanctuary; I have seen your strength and your glory.
4 Your love is better than life: you shall be the praise of my lips.
5 All my life I will bless you,
lifting up my hands, calling on your name.
6 I shall be satisfied as with a feast; with joy on my lips I shall speak your praise.
7 In the night I will remember you and stay for hours talking to you.
8 Yes, you have helped me:
I cry for joy under the shadow of your wings.
9 My soul clings to you; your right hand sustains me.
10 [But those who pursue my soul, let them go down to the depths of the earth, 11 let them be put to the sword,
let them become food for wolves!
12 And the king will rejoice in his God. He who swears by him will be glorified, While the man of lies will have his mouth shut].
Prayer: God, who shows the lost the light of your truth so that they may return to the right path, give all those who profess to be Christians to reject what is unworthy of the name and to seek what honours it. On this first day of the week, guide our steps in the ways of truth and grant us the grace to remain faithful to you.

To God, the being above all, nothing is impossible. Everything is possible with him. Whatever difficulties you find yourself in, trust in him, have faith. Pray to him and he will answer you.
