Saints ProtectionSaint Longinus is invoked against wounds caused by iron.
INVOCATION:
Please, Almighty God, that through the intercession of the blessed martyr Saint Longinus, may our hearts have access to your heart, may our bodies be delivered from all adversities and our souls purified from all evil thoughts. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Longinus, who have this special grace to protect those who implore you and to heal the wounds caused by the iron of all those who ask you to intercede for them, pray for us.
PRAYER:
O Jesus! innocent Lamb of God, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the inexpressible sufferings which you endured on Calvary, while nails were pierced, and your sacred hands and feet were fixed to the cross, in such so that all your nerves were shaken. Through this martyrdom, and through the holy wounds on your hands and feet, I beg you to show them and offer them to your heavenly Father, for all the sins of which my hands and feet have been the instrument. So be it.
