Saint Ignatius of Loyola is invoked against evil spells. He is also invoked to be preserved from wolves.
Saint Ignatius was born in Spain, at the castle of Loyola in 1491; he was first a page at the court of the King of Spain; then he embraced the career of arms. Having had his leg broken by a cannonball, he thought he saw in a dream Saint Peter healing him. When he awoke, he was, indeed, out of danger. At that moment the work of grace began in him. And this man, who had lived as a pagan, radically changed his way of life and really became a saint. He made the pilgrimage to the Holy Land. His life was austere and entirely devoted to God. He was the founder of the famous Society of Jesus.

INVOCATION:
O God who, in order to propagate the greater glory of your name, have, through Blessed Ignatius, given to the Church the strength of a new help, let us be constantly assisted by this great saint, in order to deserve to be to be crowned with him in heaven. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Ignatius of Loyola, who put an end to evil spells and who save us from the bite of wild beasts, pray for us.

PRAYER:
Lord, my God, do not stray from me. My God, hurry to help me; for a multitude of different thoughts have assailed me, and great terrors shake my soul. How will I get through so many enemies without receiving damage? How will I overthrow them? I will go before you, says the Lord, and I will bring down the mighty of the earth. I will open the prison doors, and I will show you the most secret exits. Do, Lord, according to your word: and let all evil thoughts flee before you. My only hope, my only consolation in the evils that press me, is to take refuge in you, to call on you from the bottom of my heart, and to wait patiently for your help. So be it.
