Saint Agatho is invoked to be preserved or healed from abrasions.
Originally from Sicily, Saint Agatho was elected Pope at an advanced age. Active and full of virtues, driven by the need to explode the glory of God, he opened one of the councils of Constantinople before dying, around 680.

Saint Agatho is best known for having condemned monothelism at the Council of Constantinople (680-681), and for having exempted the Church of Rome from the emperor's taxes. Saint Agatho also had the authority of the See of Rome recognized by the Archbishop of Ravenna and increased Roman influence over the clergy of the West.

Invocation
Lord my God, grant that we honor with continual worship your Pope Saint Agatho, and that we deserve to find in him the remarkable intercessor to obtain the help which we wish to obtain from you. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ.
So be it.
Saint Agatho who is invoked to be preserved and healed from abrasions, pray for us.

Prayer
Good Jesus, dead on the cross, pierced with a spear before the eyes of your mother, and still shedding blood and water of the holy plague on your side, have mercy on me, Lord, have mercy on me.
So be it.
