O holy and Sovereign Mother of God, light of my soul in the darkness
you are my hope, my support, my consolation, my refuge and my happiness.
You who gave birth to the true light of immortality, enlighten the eyes of my heart.
You who gave birth to the source of immortality, give me life, for sin makes me die!
Mother of the merciful God, have mercy on me and put repentance in my heart, humility in my thoughts, reflection in my reasoning.
Make me worthy until my last breath to be sanctified by these mysteries, for the healing of my body and soul. Grant me the tears of penance that I may sing to you and glorify you all the days of my life, for you are blessed for ever and ever.
Let us pray: Mary, in this month dedicated to you, I come to you. You know all the intentions of my heart, I trust in you and in your intercession with Jesus your Son, our Saviour. Listen to my prayer...(express your intentions in silence)
