Saint Pantaleon was a famous but pagan doctor. When he converted to the Christian faith, he became a fervent apostle of Jesus Christ and healed both through his medical art and in the name of Jesus.
Jealous doctors denounced him as a Christian to Emperor Maximian-Galerius, who had him tortured. In the midst of his torments, an angel came down from heaven and said that those who would later invoke him would always receive mercy.
Saint Pantaleon is invoked in favour of the squints.

INVOCATION:
Do, Lord, that the memory of your infinite goodnesses not be effaced from our hearts: and grant us to test the power of intercession which you gave to your holy martyr so that he helps us in all circumstances. of our life where we will have recourse to his powerful intercession. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Pantaleon, nicknamed by the Angels, Pantaléémon, safe haven for all those who call on you, pray for us.

PRAYER:
O my Savior! who died for me on the tree of the cross, and who forgave the penitent Magdalene, do not let my poor soul perish forever. Since you have redeemed me with the price of your blood, do not abandon me in the miserable state I am in, but have mercy on me. So be it.
