Saint Hervé (Harvey, Herveus, Houarniaule, or Huva) is invoked in favor of the born blind; it is also summoned against wolves.
Saint Hervé was born blind but soon illuminated by the liveliest faith. The rectitude of his life, his faith, his charity, his gentleness, his humility drew many disciples to him. They gathered in a convent. Saint Hervé performed miracles there which attracted and converted many people.

INVOCATION:
My God who, for the edification and salvation of our souls, we have presented in Saint Hervé the most perfect model of meekness and humility, put in our souls the imperious need to imitate him so that we can share his glory in heaven one day and love you with him for ever and ever. My God, through the intercession of Saint Hervé, grant us the healing of this blind man. So be it.
Saint Hervé, we beg you, intercede for us, pray for us.

PRAYER:
O suffering Jesus! Give me your passion and its blessings. It is the most effective remedy against all the diseases of my poor soul, and without it no other remedy can cure it. O good Jesus! your wounds destroy the germ of evil passions, and uproot all the sins of the souls of the penitents which return to you. Your passion is like a wall around my ears, so that the tempter's voice can no longer reach them. It closes our eyes, and prevents them from casting a look of lust on forbidden things. It protects and guards the senses against anything that could defile them. It also nourishes and maintains the pure flame of devotion. So be it.
