Saints
Saint Cadoc is invoked against cramps. Saint Cadoc, a young monk, was martyred because he did not want to renounce his faith in Jesus Christ. Beaten, put in prison, he gave thanks to God for his goodness. Subjected to all kinds of torture, he came out serene and praying to God. His steadfastness converts a crowd of people. Delivered to the beasts, not one touched it. Finally, his head was cut off.
Many miracles took place after his death.
INVOCATION
My God, who will allow me to be reached in my flesh, I pray you, by the merits of your saints and by the special intercession of Saint Cadoc, to grant me, if possible, healing. I appeal to You with love and confidence; let me feel the effects of your salutary assistance.
Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. So be it.
Saint Cadoc, deliver me from the cramps from which I suffer; I beg you with confidence.
PRAYER
O my Jesus! Nor must I be deprived of conformity with your adorable head crowned with sharp thorns. So sink into my soul, I beg you, the following thorns, namely: contrition for my past faults, compassion for the miseries of my neighbor, and an ardent zeal which makes me feel all that offends your infinite majesty. I want to: walk everywhere and always in your presence with this crown of thorns. So be it.
