Saint Antoninus, whose body lies in Sorrento, is the object of great veneration on the part of all the faithful.
We come to recommend to Saint Antoninus, especially the drunkards and to make vows on his tomb to obtain their change or their cure.

Invocation
O God, who do not allow those who have no hope in you to be tempted and afflicted beyond their strength, but who make them profit from all the evils they endure; deign to protect and deliver your servants by your celestial help and the merits of Saint Antoninus. We beg you by N.-S. AD So be it.

Saint Antoninus, admirable doctor of drunkards, pray for us.

Prayer
Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me. Can my mouth speak any other word? From the depths of my misery, can some other feeling emerge? When I consider the dangers that surround me on all sides, the inclination that leads me to evil, and the blindness that makes me fall into all the traps set for my weakness, what can I say to you, O my God, in the excess of my shame and my pain, if not, with the blind man of the Gospel that you have pity on my condition? Alas! You know my faults better than I do; and I add with the prophet, that you see even those that I do not see. You know that I am only a weak reed that the slightest wind bends; that I find in myself only Sources of corruption and principles of error; that my life is finally a continual temptation, my whole being an assembly of miseries and contradictions. In such a deplorable situation, what will become of me, great God, if you abandon me? Like a stray traveler in a foreign land, I see myself exposed to all kinds of attacks and surprises, and it is in my own heart that I find the cause of all my defeats. Only hope of my downcast soul, Strong and mighty God, reach out to me and lift me up. The weaker I am, the greater will be the goodness that will sustain me: it only belongs to boundless mercy to have pity for extreme poverty: you find it in me, Lord, this dreadful misery, capable of repelling anything other than a Savior God. Do not reject my prayer, God full of mercy, who run even after sinners who flee from you; receive me, when I come to you, look at the work of your hands; Can a father be insensitive to the tears and pressing needs of his children? O my father! carry me in your arms, when my languor prevents me from walking; take me under cover under the shadow of your wings, hide me in your paternal bosom, break the chains that I do not have the courage to break, fix my irresolutions, end the battles that my inclinations are waging against me, heal my wounds, dispel my errors; do not let my weakness outweigh your power, become the stronger in my heart; put whatever you want to find there; give me the virtues you ask for, and then order whatever you like. So be it.
