GIVE PEACE TO OUR TIME
O Good Saint Anne,
grandmother of the "Prince of Peace",
we pray to you for our world,
our families and ourselves.
The children, women and men of our time
need to live in peace.
Many are innocent victims of hate,
divisions and violence.
With you and Mary
we turn to the Lord.
We beg him to send his Spirit
into the hearts of all people.
May the Lord give peace to our time.

Understanding between people is a very important element that conditions peace and cohesion. The Evil One knows this and always seeks to create divisions and conflicts. Satan knows that he has to rely on misunderstanding in his malicious aims. His main objective is therefore to destroy families. Because he knows that in the family, if there is mutual understanding between all family members, he will never succeed in any of his evil deeds. So he pits brothers and sisters against each other, children become disobedient and see their parents as enemies. Wars are created between families, neighbours, clans, countries, religions...
