Jesus
O you who love me so much,
Jesus, here truly God hidden,
listen to me, I implore you, may your good pleasure be my pleasure,
my passion, my love!
Give me to seek it, to find it, to fulfil it!
to find it, to fulfil it!
Show me your ways,
show me your paths.
You have your plans for me,
tell me well,
and let me follow them
until the final salvation of my soul.
Let me be indifferent to all that passes,
and wanting to see only you,
I love all that is yours,
but you, above all, my God, you!
Make me bitter all joy that is not you,
impossible any desire outside of you,
delicious all work done for you,
unbearable all rest that is not in you.
Let my soul fly to you at all hours, O good Jesus,
may my soul take flight towards you;
Let my life be an act of love!
O Jesus, my delight and my life,
give me to be without seeking
in my humility,
without dissipation in my joys,
without dejection in my sadness,
without harshness in my austerity.
Give me to speak without diversions,
to fear without despair,
to hope without presumption,
to be pure and without blemish,
to rebuke without anger,
to love without pretense,
to build without ostentation,
to obey without reply,
to suffer without a murmur.
Supreme goodness, O Jesus,
I ask you for a heart in love with you,
that no sight,
no noise can distract it;
a faithful and proud heart,
that never wavers,
that never descends;
an indomitable heart,
always ready to fight
after every storm;
a free heart,
never seduced,
never enslaved,
an upright heart
never to be found
in the crooked ways.
And my spirit,
Lord,
my spirit!
That powerless to misunderstand you
ardent to seek you,
may it know how to meet you,
the supreme wisdom!
May his talks
not displease you too much!
May he, confident and calm,
may he wait for your answers,
and may he rest on your word!
May penance
make me feel the thorns of your crown!
May grace
pour out your gifts to me on the road to exile!
May glory
intoxicate me with your joys in the heavenly homeland!
So be it.

Jesus Christ is a central figure in Christianity. He is regarded as the incarnation of God.
The historical existence of Jesus is attested by archaeological research and by the accounts of Roman historians (Flavius Josephus, Tacitus, Suetonius).
At about the age of thirty, Jesus left Nazareth and began an itinerant public life. He calls his disciples and walks with them through Judea and Galilee. He teaches, he heals the sick, casts out demons, walks on water, forgives sins, raises the dead. He is attentive to children. He shares meals, a wedding party, pilgrimages to Jerusalem. He lives as a Jewish believer, goes to the synagogue, observes the Sabbath. He weeps, gets angry, experiences sadness, fatigue and thirst, compassion and even anguish. Jesus is known for his natural authority.
With all the miracles he performed, Jesus is the one to whom prayers should be addressed no matter what difficulties one faces.
